Thanks folks. To be honest, I feel for the bus driver. One minute they're daundering along, dazzled by the sun, and the next there's some fool woman leaping about and falling on the road in front of the bus. A shredded knee seems a good result.

Its 80 degrees out I am brave enough to go to Wal Mart  and these morons get out of their car crack the windows and leave their large pit bull in the car. :eyebrow: I ask the manager when I go in if they can call the police, they say no but we can page them about their car, so they did that and at least the car was gone when I came out.
These people had a 3 year [?] old child! They both should be neutered they are too stupid to take care of a dog properly who knows what they do at home with their kid. |
Agh!What a frustrating end to what was to be a nice outing, Limey ... hope your knee heals soon and the evening is more than compensated for. :)

Guns! Oh shit! Run! Hide! He likes guns! Damn him to hell! Oh, sweet Lord, help us! Guns! Jim Carrey save us!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, I don't know if you're taking offense to that Family Guy post or not, but...I posted it because you talking about the gnats reminded me of that segment. It had nothing to do with you being a fan of guns...although, it's still funny even if I did think about that. As I mentioned in the DVD thread, I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

I think that's because of my response to his comments on Cary in the DVD thread.
I would say though that he's completely misinterpreted what I said. |

BTW, Dana, that wasn't aimed at you in particular. |

So who managed to slice open the webbing between her ring finger and middle finger wuthin 20 mins of being back at work?
Oh me. Who has a liver condition which means she bleeds like buggery? Me again. Who had a trip to the minor injuries unit and was sent home? It couldn't be stitched because of the location, but the glue means I have to have the two fingers taped together, so can't wear a glove. Who tried to buy gauze to tape a plastic bag over her hand in the shower tomorrow only to have the whole damned High Street suffer a powercut when I was at the till? You guessed it. Day off tomoorow (official) and going to Leeds for Outpatients appointment, then back at work on the tills on Wednesday because I can't get the dressing wet and you cannot work on the counters if you can't wash your hands. I'm just glad I was actually at work and hurt it on work equipment with two witnesses, so it is 100% clear I am not at fault. Still far rather it hadn't happened at all. Expect to hear of an ebola outbreak or a sinkhole large enough to swallow a cow or a rain of frogs over Otley at some point soon. |
