So they asked an average of 78 people from each state, who were willing to participate in a poll, willing reveal to strangers what guns they have at home, and none of which lied. http://cellar.org/2015/shades.gif

The feds claim there are well over 200 million guns in the US, so looking at those numbers some people must have more than one. Imagine that.
