You have to wonder about a person's mental wellbeing when they willingly put themselves out there knowing they will be the butt of a joke   (pun intended)

xoxoxoBruce 12-30-2005 02:56 PM

Most Professional comedians do exactly that, like Carrot Top or Lucy. :D

cjjulie 12-30-2005 08:36 PM

At least they get paid - this poor girl just has no self worth, its just sad...

Troubleshooter 12-30-2005 10:19 PM

Her current condition may be the result of having lost a great deal of weight as well. That may have been excess skin.

zippyt 12-30-2005 10:41 PM

No that WAS bluber , fat , babby got WAY to MUCH back !!!!!!

Seeing as I only have dial up , i only had to watch the first few seconds to VETO watching the rest of this clip !!!

wolf 12-31-2005 01:45 AM

That was very, very sad.

Nothing But Net 12-31-2005 01:56 AM

Hey, she's got a pretty good TV, and I bet it has all the pay channels too. You know there's plenty of food and beer in the fridge, and honestly, she looks like a very comfortable sofa.

xoxoxoBruce 12-31-2005 08:18 AM

Damn, NBN. I've seen people treated like doormats, but a sofa?

grazzers 01-20-2006 12:05 PM

The model tower video, you just see it coming, poor guy watches his masterpiece crumble. Still funny though .

glatt 01-20-2006 12:30 PM

As I watched the tower one, I couldn't help but feel the whole thing was staged. The "reporter" seemed to go out of his way to knock the tower down.

xoxoxoBruce 01-20-2006 09:57 PM

It was a set up, don't know if the reporter was in on it but I think so. When was the last time you saw a reporter without a wireless mike or a mike with a cord the size of 12-3 cable. :eyebrow:

Gromitspapa 01-22-2006 02:58 PM

When I visited my dentist recently, I was telling him about my new project making on-board motorcycle videos. He's an avid skydiver, and offered to let me watch a DVD RADIX that his BASE jumping buddies had made. I was blown away by what I saw. I have a second clip I can post a little later if you like this (it's even more amazing). Need to conserve bandwidth...

http://www.gromitspapa.com/radix1.wmv (36 MB)

xoxoxoBruce 01-25-2006 05:41 PM

Wow, papa. You gonna run your bike off a cliff?
Can't wait for the second installment.

BigV 01-25-2006 05:54 PM

There will be only *one* episode. Do not miss it.

Gromitspapa 01-25-2006 09:10 PM

I'll take that as a yes, no?

GP...how do the wingsuited BASE jumpers walk with those giant balls crammed between their legs?

Those guys are officially crazy. Wolf? Room for several, please.

wolf 01-31-2006 01:11 PM

So, I guess that thing about bovines not being able to go down stairs isn't entirely true.

At one point, someone on the observation plane says, "Oh, that's cool". He was right.

BigV 02-01-2006 07:53 PM

Whoa!

xoxoxoBruce 02-01-2006 10:46 PM

Aw that was just another part of the great space hoax and I even know how they did it. They built a space/desert set and then filmed Tinkerbell flying in. :D

zippyt 02-03-2006 12:54 AM

GP , I just finished grabbing the first clip , the last jumper has some BIG ASS Brass ones , he flew for a LONG time befor dumping his 'shute !!!!

I would have to change my skivies after doing ANY thing like that !!!!!!

Gromitspapa 02-03-2006 12:21 PM

Try the second clip...

zippyt 02-03-2006 05:47 PM

I'l get back to ya in a few days , as I am on dial up .

What a stupid jerk. I almost wish the train hit him, but that would be unfair to the poor train operator and the guys who would have to clean up the mess.

I want one.

glatt 02-10-2006 01:05 PM

I want one too. Not the wall, the car.

xoxoxoBruce 02-10-2006 01:07 PM

One what? Concrete barrier? Video clip? Certainly not that piece of shit car. :eyebrow:

mrnoodle 02-22-2006 09:50 AM

I think that this kid might be spending a little bit too much time on that game.

Doesn't look like he's very good at it either. It's in German or Norwegian or something, so I can't tell what he's freaking out about, but it looks like he might be lagging, then getting killed as a result.

At any rate, his parents need to maybe....i dunno...turn it off for awhile.

Gromitspapa 02-22-2006 09:56 AM

Gromitspapa --

Those are very funny. I like the purple plastic nutsack hanging from the back of THE FLAME. And on the third one, the flyer, I think they de-tuned the trebuchet so the landing would happen in the frame. Too bad, properly engineered, that car could have been flung much further.

To the others in the audience similarly inclined to trebuchet fever, I'll fling out this link.

BigV 02-22-2006 10:31 AM

mrnoodle --

What a scary video! Actually, I've seen it in my own home. I wonder why make the tape in the first place. For someone *that* far gone, reason is a faded memory, and seeing themselves in the throes of agony would have little effect. You're right. Pull the plug. Time for an intervention.

xoxoxoBruce 02-22-2006 05:54 PM

I assume you're talking about mrnoodle's link, V. Maybe the clip is to show the shrink. :)

Pi 02-24-2006 01:33 PM

That kid speaks german, but I think it's faked...

And that german engineer reminds me of the neonazis in Big Lebowski...

Why do you think they call it World of Warcrack?

I liked it when he busted the ESC key off the keyboard and then carefully placed it back on because he still needed it.

ashke 02-24-2006 09:57 PM

Hmm, I doubt that was WoW. Unless he radically changed his keyboard settings, he didn't look as though he was playing WoW. Besides, the BGM in that game does not sound like WoW BGM.

At the end of the second video, he says he maintained forward flight at a constant altitude of 2000 meters for around 30 seconds. Amazing.

xoxoxoBruce 02-25-2006 07:23 AM

Looking at the background, at the end of the second video, I wonder if that's where he landed? It looks pretty populated. :mg:

seakdivers 02-25-2006 11:00 AM

Oh my god that is even more funny than the backyard rollercoaster!!

I like how he just drops and it seems like nothing is happening - and then zooooom! He becomes a speck on the horizon.

The kid's got potential, if he doesn't get beaten up first. (For those not familiar with The Magic Flute, the piece he's singing is a) very famous and b) usually sung by a woman.)

joelnwil 02-27-2006 01:28 PM

A mother's plea for the killing of Sarasto. Wonderful!

Pi 02-27-2006 05:55 PM

But he won't have a voice like that for long. He already has some problems, but nevertheless it's beautiful.

BigV 02-27-2006 06:58 PM

Wow. I almost popped a hernia watching it! I especially like the open vowel ah-ah-aha-h-ah-ah-ah sections. What a beautiful voice. I wonder if Kevin in Sin City sounded that way. :snark:

xoxoxoBruce 02-27-2006 07:14 PM

Methinks they should lengthen his suspenders. ;)

wolf 02-28-2006 12:35 AM

Opera sure lost a lot after the pope outlawed castrati.

(recording of the real deal)

xoxoxoBruce 03-04-2006 10:23 PM

Wow, check out the blind guitarist. :mg:
