TheMercenary 11-11-2009 12:50 PM

lumberjim 11-11-2009 12:53 PM

my email address is no secret

xoxoxoBruce 11-11-2009 01:48 PM

At least that one isn't. He's got about 40 more for his sock-puppetry and nefarious shenanigans. :lol2:

lumberjim 11-11-2009 01:52 PM

i still have like 1000 jimhelm.net or jimhelm.org email addresses available if anyone wants one.

lumberjim 11-11-2009 01:54 PM

I wish i knew how many sock puppets I have. I should have kept a list somewhere
maybe a sockpuppet thread is in order.

monster 11-11-2009 02:33 PM

i think the betting tips thread is serving that purpose quite well?

richlevy 07-24-2011 12:40 PM

So what happened to you Jim? 1096 posts? Did the odometer roll over?

I'm closing on 6k. Another 3 months at this rate.

I tend to post around in circles, because even though I lack the Y chromosome that keeps me from asking directions, I do have the BA in Geography that insists I can read a damn map. ... Oh, hell, look at that. 19202.

ZenGum 03-10-2012 09:22 PM

: stretches; flexes; waves post count in the air:

I'd been watching it for a while but took my eye off it and, boom, here I am.

richlevy 03-10-2012 11:14 PM

Wow, I passed 6000 and didn't even notice. Of course, I've been on the WWW Cellar since it's inception, so this is a lousy post-per-day ratio.

Fibonacci post count! Now where's that anagram thread?

And :notworthy to Bruce, who recently passed 40,000 posts.

Forty bloody thousand. Holy moly.

jimhelm 09-28-2012 02:11 PM

he's just a 'bot.

Rhianne 02-06-2013 06:35 PM

999

999 mostly pointless and largely unnoticed posts.

999 posts seems a lot to me but after five-and-a-half years that only works out at one every couple of days. It’s nothing, is it.

I was directed here by a friend from another site, someone I never actually met, and never will now, he passed away a short while back. I never thanked him for his tip. I know he wasn’t the sort of guy who ever needed thanks so I hope we’re cool and if Jannah is real I’ll sort it out there.

My previous experience of message boards were either of the music-based types or centred around my lifelong hobby of motorsport so this more general sort of place was new to me. I’ve enjoyed the place thoroughly but I’m not the most ‘chatty’ of people by nature so perhaps I’ve never really fitted in too well.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has responded to any of my nonsense over these years. 999 is a great number and this seems like an excellent point for me to disappear now into full lurk mode.

footfootfoot 02-06-2013 06:51 PM

Wait.

Aliantha 02-06-2013 08:53 PM

I don't think you should go Rhianne. I've always found your posts to be quite thoughtful. I wonder now also who your friend was that died. Was it someone we all knew? Is that why you're not going to post any more?

I for one would love it if you could fill us in.

Where ever you go, I hope life is kind to you. :)

ZenGum 02-06-2013 08:53 PM

Don't go, Rhianne! Wait a while, and I'm sure we can get that fourth digit in. It won't hurt, I promise!

jimhelm 02-06-2013 11:16 PM

...hold on a sec.....

....i wanted to ask you.....

Before you go....

What is this I don't even

The hell you will, it's your turn to stack the chairs and sweep up. :p:

DanaC 02-07-2013 08:45 AM

Wtf? You fit in here. I always like your posts.

glatt 02-07-2013 09:11 AM

Years ago, there was a dwellar named Catwoman who reached 1000 posts and then vanished. This reminds me of that.

infinite monkey 02-07-2013 10:43 AM

Did you ever see Catwoman and Rhianne in the same room at the same time?

I love Rhianne's posts. Don't go!

footfootfoot 02-07-2013 03:58 PM

All we wanna do when we wake up in the morning is see your posts
Rhianne, Rhianne,
We never thought that a dwellar like you would ever leave us be, Rhianne
All we wanna do in the middle of the evening is read what you write
Rhianne, Rhianne
We didn't know you were looking for more than we could ever be

Chorus:
Not quite a day since she went away, Rhianne yeah
Now she's gone and we have to say
Meet you all the way, meet you all the way, Rhianne yeah
Meet you all the way, meet you all the way, Rhianne yeah

We can see your face still shining through the browser on the other side
Rhianne, Rhianne
We didn't know that a girl like you could make us feel so sad, Rhianne

Rhianne, Rhianne
We never thought that losing you could ever hurt so bad

;)

infinite monkey 02-07-2013 05:44 PM

Excellent! I hadn't seen this when i made suggestions in the landshark thread, so it's really doubly awesome!

Bravo!

sexobon 02-10-2013 12:46 PM

Red Røver, Red Røver, let Rhianne come over ... over 1,000 posts that is.

see, if I was a mod, I would delete your oldest post, keeping you at 998. I would let you know it, and keep it up until you cried mercy.

footfootfoot 02-10-2013 02:42 PM

See? Power corrupts.

jimhelm 02-10-2013 08:50 PM

Thats why i never vote for me.

Griff 06-01-2013 09:07 AM

Too much typing, I do.

Clodfobble 06-01-2013 08:57 PM

Wow, look at the man go!

I remember when Bruce was the first one to hit 20,000. Next couple of years, it'll be commonplace.

orthodoc 07-30-2013 03:46 PM

Hit the 2K ... I'm just a babe in the woods compared to you guys.

BigV 07-30-2013 04:23 PM

y2k?

y not!

ZenGum 07-30-2013 06:56 PM

Well, you are a babe, and are often in the woods.
