Big Sarge hasn't posted since July 5th. Is this in line with his deployment? Should we have heard from him, at least a peep? Hoo-arr?

Ali is probably having fun with baby and family. I would be if I were her instead of me.

She last posted to report post-natal depression and problems getting a doc to evaluate he baby with a potentially serious condition. Having fun may not be the best description right now, but i hope you're right

Here I am. I've just been taking some time out. I haven't really got that much to say to be honest. The doc put me on Zoloft and I'm a bit tired. i think it's my mind slowing down a bit and not running at a mile a minute.

The good news is that as I'm calming down, some of Max's feeding issues seem to be abating. I'm diagnosing vicious cycle there. He still has issues, but at least we're not having a fight with every feed now.

We have an appointment with a ped based at the hospital where he was born on the 18th of September which is great as they'll have all my antenatal records to go with his current symptoms. I'm hopeful they'll just suggest some physical therapy for him.

A big thanks to Tawny and Casi for their fabulous advice, particularly from Casi's family member. It has been very comforting and informative.

So don't worry monster. I'll be back to bother you and everyone else some time down the track. I'm just taking some time to mend a few fences and catch up on some rest at the moment.

It's nice to know I've been missed. :)

For me it's been a "get my head together" break.
Also the last time few times I posted, I had such a s-l-o-w connection (as I have today) that it did my nut. It's like the old international calls, where you had to remember to leave five seconds for a response, but you always forgot and ended up talking over eachother.

Still, this reminds me, I have been horribly remiss in contacting the Sarge - I said I'd mail him and haven't. I'll go see if I can distract him with waffle. It'll be a breakfast treat.
