it's the friday before a much needed weeklong vacation.
so actually it's busy as hell, but i'll be on to bigger and better things shortly.

woo hoo!!

Griff 04-18-2008 12:33 PM

Ha! Brilliant.

Cloud 04-18-2008 05:14 PM

beer. beer. beer. want. beer. only. 4. fuckin'. o'clock.

want. beer.

pina coladas accepted in lieu.

elSicomoro 04-18-2008 05:34 PM

I'm not working today. Unfortunately, I got too much cold medicine in me to enjoy a brew.

Cloud 04-18-2008 05:38 PM

well, hell. who needs beer with that stuff?

elSicomoro 04-18-2008 05:44 PM

I wish it were that good. Fuck, NyQuil had the total opposite effect last night...kept me up for 2 extra hours.

zippyt 04-18-2008 08:15 PM

Well Noon WAS going to be friday after noon , then the phone rang ,
I just got home ,
First of MANY beers !!

Sundae 04-19-2008 05:22 PM

Oh dear - Friday night ended in many beers.
I don't clearly remember getting home. Sigh.

And I was so chuffed to realise I'd only spent approx £6 (and the pints I drink are £3.05!). Then I remembered James offering to set me up a tab as he knew it was pre-payday weekend and I was short on funds. Oh crikey. Get the full story when back there tomorrow!

Meh - can't be that much. I def paid for two, and can remember being bought three. If I managed to walk home I can only be missing a few at the most. This will stop though.

Unfortunately Friday afternoon was followed by Saturday. Went to two little league games, fixed one network at the office (no I wasn't supposed to work today, why do you ask?), mowed the grass, and played an orchestra concert.

xoxoxoBruce 04-19-2008 11:57 PM

Mowed the grass... what the hell do you have kids for?

Griff 04-20-2008 06:06 AM

That's what is called a euphemism Bruce.

SteveDallas 04-20-2008 10:54 AM

No, it wasn't a euphemism this time. Besides, I had a new lawnmower... even my laissez-faire attitude toward lawn maintenance won't keep me from trying out a new gadget.

xoxoxoBruce 04-20-2008 11:14 AM

New toy? Ah, dat 'splain it. :D

HungLikeJesus 04-21-2008 08:49 AM

I feel like I missed a few episodes. The last show I saw, Sundae Girl was going to AA, on the wagon, financially responsible, and on the road to better things. What happened while I was gone?
