Not last night, but, last month. We drank to our late friend with a liquor that didn't even exist when he was alive.

Waiter: Would monsieur care for another bottle of Chateau Latour?

Navin: Ah yes, but no more 1966. Lets splurge! Bring us some fresh
wine! The freshest you've got - this year! No more of this old
stuff.

infinite monkey 05-15-2012 07:52 AM

Hahahahahha!

Sniper (looking at new phone book): Johnson, Navin R... sounds like a typical bastard.

RFalmost2weeksago...

Dude said "I bought this eighty dollar bottle of Jack Daniel's...two years ago."

I said "Fool. Gimme that."

A little research tells me that eighty dollars is bullshit. eBay has just a neck/hang tag for $10. However, Jack Daniel's partnered with American Forests to produce (I'm told) only 100,000 bottles of Jack Daniel's American Forest. For every bottle sold, American Forests planted one tree.

Each bottle has a serial number you can (still) register at Jack Daniel's website.

Bottled at 90 proof, it tastes and smells like Crown Royal, a little smokier. Very drinkable.

BTW, that Skol?

$8 - surprisingly good. It's shootable with no chaser - if you like vodka.

infinite monkey 02-19-2013 02:04 PM

Was it one of those big ass really old cellphones? Because I can't figure out how you kept that bottle in a cellphone.

Blackstone is nice. $17.99 for the 1.5 ML.

glatt 02-19-2013 07:26 PM

I'm sure it is. I need to remember that one.

Black Box is surprisingly good. Around $18-20 for the 3 liter box. That's four bottles worth. It's on par with a $12 bottle of wine taste wise.
