Domino does this pretty much daily. We raised him on a bottle from the age of one day, and I'm fairly certain he thinks we are members of his litter, or his parents...so we get groomed.

I got the eyedea for this costume from an old post, I think by Bruce, of halloween costumes in the 30's. I started it a year ago and then hit a snag and let it drop. My kids were pushing me this year to finish it so I did, putting the final touches on at the 11th hour. This is me RF last night.

The biggest bottle of Visine you ever saw!

I learned how to tie a couple special knots in an arbor rope today so you can climb a rope into a tree.

The knot is tricky at first, but I got the hang of it. It's called a Blake's Hitch. And there's another hitch for your feet to rest in. You sort of inchworm your way up the rope, alternating the knots you slide up while you rest on the other knot.


Kind of cool that I got the rope up there, tied the knots and did the climbing myself in this set of pictures.

A friend took these for me, but only gave me low res copies.

This is a frame of a video taken when I visited my brother in the summer, but I took the screen cap when I was cleaning out my phone just a moment ago, so it's arguably RFN.

We were playing with a high powered LED he got, and I was holding the 36 volt conductors to the LED terminals to get it to light up. It was kind of bright. Imagine this in a flashlight? You could build a flashlight for it that took 4x9 volt batteries. Almost 8000 lumens, compared to most flashlights that have about 100 lumens.
