she's CUTE. Reminds me of Nancy Sinatra for some reason. looks vaguely like that chick Shawnee that used to post here, too. Oh, and she sings ok too.
I liked that song 'Jar of Hearts' the first 75 times I heard it... but after a week or 2 of that..... well. I wouldn't throw her out of bed for eating crackers, is all. |
I think she's cuter than snot, too. Must be the big brown eyes. ;)
I just love her voice. They didn't run Jar of Hearts into the ground so much here, or not that I noticed. |

I can't stop listening to these guys. This is the song that first got me hooked:

That is original and compelling, good find Clod!
|
very tasty Clodfobble, thanks!
and, um. short. |
Yeah, I don't really understand why it cuts off where it does. It's like that on the CD too, so it's not some weird thing by the YouTube uploader.
I came across them because that song is used as the opening theme to a documentary series called Circus. |
I fell in love with Circus!

Oh swoon. Whew.

This is less music and more visual art. But music is involved.
I KNOW I have posted this before. I know I have. But I can't bloody find it!!! I'll label it properly this time. Natalie Imbruglia, beautiful woman, far too thin, mediocre actress, reasonable singer. Australian. Singing with a mime artist at one of Amnesty International's events. IMO very, VERY good. |
After 43 years I'm beginning to think I don't like music.
I thought I liked music, I really did. |
What a voice. It bears a relisten. We love the new artists who have beautiful voices, and I think we shouldn't forget those who came before. I love how her voice is so...restrained? Then she lets loose, just for a bit. Perfect.
At FortySeventeen. ;) |
OK, I'm all into odes and ballads today.
