Very pretty Gravdigr.

What camera is that taken with grav? If you don't mind me asking. :)
Probably not something I can afford. |

Very cheap on eBay. Beware the wall charger, though. Mine was/is a piece of crap. Fell apart in my hands, and I had to glue it together. Prolly one in a million. Didn't expect that from Kodak. Pretty tough, I've dropped mine twice, once onto carpet, once a glancing bounce off the countertop onto the kitchen floor. Like a Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Literally smaller and thinner than my wallet. |
I went through all of my thousands of photos and put my favorites into a photobucket album. If you have a few minutes, check it out. I linked to the slideshow because it's easier to see the full images.

Anytime I'm around a fire, I usually take at least one pic to see if there's a face in the fire. There's always a face in the fire. Remember this.
The first pic is untouched apart from resizing. The second pic I 'shopped the eyes and mouth, but that's all. Spooky. Kinda. |
Oooh...that is neat. Never thought of looking for a face before.
|
Grav, I have a Kodak too, but mine is older. An Easyshare M1073 10.2MP.
But it's pink. And yes, it's enduring. Mine's been bumped about in my bag, in my luggage, on trains and coaches and what-not. I love that squirrel! I'm never fast enough to catch them on camera. Re the face in the fire. I can see the one you shopped obviously, but you missed the one already there. The mouth is at the top right hand side of the triangle and the sunken eyes above it. Sorry if that's what you were referring to! |
The one I see is very bright, and in profile. Is that the one you mean SG? (It's blocked in the second picture.)
|
I see that one too, hlj, but I wasn't sure if he shopped that one as well. It looks so distinct.
( and what a big nose it has....) |
I hardly ever see the faces when I take the picture, it's only afterward, at the 'puter that I see 'em.
The ones I see at the fire, don't usually show up in my pics... But, they're always there. I've always wondered if this plays some subliminal role in man's fascination with fire. |
Oh, and...
