Are you 10?

Well?

ZenGum 10-05-2011 07:24 AM

Yes, in base 38.

footfootfoot 10-05-2011 07:56 AM

five times over

Spexxvet 10-05-2011 08:33 AM

Emotionally, yes. My humor is sophomoric, which is 10th grade, so there's another yes. Chronologically, I am an order of magnitude more than 10.

BigV 10-05-2011 10:21 AM

Hell yeah. Parts of me anyhow, at times. It's part of my charm (or "distinguishing characteristics" as they so dryly say on the posters).

SamIam 10-05-2011 11:27 AM

I'm ten in dog years. ;)

Gravdigr 10-05-2011 01:58 PM

If we're talking I.Q., I am, indeed, a ten.

monster 10-05-2011 05:01 PM

well both my feets are size 5....

Aliantha 10-05-2011 05:55 PM

Sorry. I should have quoted the other thread but I was half pissed and half asleep when I decided to put this thread up.

It was the only thing that gave me even a whisper of humour yesterday.

What a shit day.

I might tell you about it in the upsetting thread, but mostly I'll probably keep it to myself.

Seriously? That seems unreasonably small. My feet are each a size 10.

brit size 5..... Merkin kid size 5.... merkin women size 6.5, but I always buy kids' shoes

i do have small feet. you, on the other hand, apparently have huge feet!

monster 10-05-2011 10:00 PM

....which is good because it means you have a huge cock....

sexobon 10-05-2011 10:28 PM

Really, it's that I have wide feet. I'm usually able to wear a size lower if it's a W instead of a standard width. Also, they got a size bigger after pregnancy, I guess because the extra weight collapsed my arches more.

Aliantha 10-06-2011 12:22 AM

My feet are about a 9 depending on the style of shoe. Some boots I'll wear a 10. I used to be about an 8 till after I'd had kids and my feet seemed to get bigger.

It sux.

You can fix that.

After I lost a bunch of weight and started doing a lot of foot-powered activities I went from a 15EEE to a 14 or 14E.

ZenGum 10-06-2011 01:07 AM

I am very impressed with how many different ways we came up with to say we are 10.

Clearly, we are all 10s.

You mean stuff like raising up and down on your toes and walking in sand? I already bought a bunch of size 10 shoes so it might be a bit of a waste for me to do it anyway. :)

Are Aussie size the same as either Brit or Merkin sizes?

Oh here, see, I answered my own question. Apparently my size is a UK 4, but unless my feet shrank a whole size as I flew over the atlantic, I disagree with that conversion. maybe I'm a 4.5

(this is for women's shoes)

Clodfobble 10-06-2011 07:58 AM

When I was in high school, those black cloth Chinese shoes were all the rage. We all went to the same little store to buy them, where the guy who ran the place could just look at your feet and say, "Oh yes, I get you size 38." And he was always right.

ZenGum 10-06-2011 10:22 PM

We usually get shoes with either US or European sizings, you need to check carefully and try them on. As if you wouldn't anyway.

The Japanese system is the best, IMHO. Measure your foot in centimeters, from heel to toe. That is your shoe size. Done.

Aliantha 10-07-2011 12:30 AM

Wow, that's an awesome idea Zen! Why the hell can't the rest of the world do that?

they were popular in my HS too. we wore them with white knee sox and with our plaid, pleated uniform skirts. Alice in Wonderland sort of look. :)
