Hi Katkeeper.

Katkeeper 01-10-2016 08:10 AM

The parade is totally unique and a great way to start the New Year. I loved it - best Christmas present that I can remember! UT, you can always post images when I look good... Others, maybe not.

xoxoxoBruce 01-10-2016 12:22 PM

A hot babe like you always looks good.

Worked that time.

You got the moves!

lumberjim 01-11-2016 10:11 AM

That's not me. It's a shorter doppelganger

xoxoxoBruce 01-11-2016 10:28 AM

Obviously not you. He's fat, not ripped with six pack abs. And his pouch is way too small. :vikingsmi

DanaC 01-11-2016 01:42 PM

That's awesome! I really enjoyed it. Put a smile on my face.

He totally carries it off. Wicked dancer.

Thanks guys! Waylon was handed a scroll about Jesus when he was heading to the subway in LA. He kept it because he liked the ribbon tied around it. Lol

DanaC 01-12-2016 02:51 PM

Waylon reminds me a little of Nestor Carbonell.

And Shel, damn, you lookin fine.

It's the lighting and the cameraman being far enough away. Lol

Yesterday was gorgeous -- sunny and warm for this time of year. This is me standing on the front porch. Behind me is our winding driveway.

xoxoxoBruce 01-15-2016 04:57 PM

Your officially a hillbilly now, make any moonshine for us?

Lola Bunny 01-15-2016 05:02 PM

Bruce doesn't like to have any alcohol in the house. He frowns every time I try to buy a bottle of wine, so I always end up not buying any. Since I can't drink any wine, I refuse to make any moonshine for others to enjoy. :thepain: :p::p::p:

xoxoxoBruce 01-15-2016 05:05 PM

Whoa! No booze? No internet? Big culture shock! You're allowed shoes though, right?

Lola Bunny 01-15-2016 05:13 PM

Shoes, yes....shoes in the house. You know Asians usually don't wear shoes in the house, right? Well, we have house shoes or slippers, so the floors wouldn't get dirty. Let's see....no smoking, no booze, no internet, no T.V. in the beginning. We do now but with an antennae, so we have some of the basic channels. We also have these local channels. However, the only channel I ended up watching is this oldies channel. Let's see....I watched "Three's Company," "One Day At A Time," "Andy Griffith Show," "Emergency," etc.

Undertoad 01-15-2016 05:50 PM

I'm out.

lumberjim 01-15-2016 06:07 PM

You knew all this going in?

busterb 01-15-2016 06:30 PM

Whe s^

orthodoc 01-15-2016 07:44 PM

Do you have any contact with your family or former friends? Can you come and go as you please? Do you have your own transportation and ability to do as you like?

Sheldonrs 01-15-2016 08:02 PM

No booze, no smoking, no Sheldon!

Elspode 01-16-2016 01:11 AM

Guys, guys, guys...clearly, the sex is *awesome*. Also, Antenna TV is a lot of fun after.

fargon 01-16-2016 06:12 AM

We have antenna TV, and it does not suck too bad.

Hehe.....Sorta. I promised to quit smoking but must have my alcohol. Apparently, I can drink when offered or available somewhere. However, he really prefers not to have it readily in the house. I do have my own car, which I can go wherever I want. I assume so anyways. He always said it's safer for me if he's around, so he prefer to go with me. But when he's at work, who's going to stop me from going where I want? Walmart doesn't have to brand of wine I like, so one day soon when Bruce is at work, I'm going to drive to this other grocery store to get some. I already told him there will be issues if he won't let me drink. Out of respect for him, I'm just not buying any in front of his face. :D

No internet, no T.V., no smoking....I knew all this going in. I usually don't drink, so I don't have too much problem with him not liking it.

Oh yeah, I found CBS last night and watch "Blue Bloods." :D As for the radio, I found FM radio. I thought his radio only have AM but it does have FM. I finally got my mp3 player with a radio and wireless speak shipped to me. So, I can and do blast my own music on sometimes. :D

Safer from what?

xoxoxoBruce 01-16-2016 03:29 PM

Red Next, Alley Gaters, Miner Tees, and Sept Rate friends, not to mention Corn Trolls.

He's just being protective. Some of the neighborhood aren't as safe as others, like anywhere else in the country. I'm a bit naive too. And being very tiny doesn't exactly scream "stay away from me." I was very sheltered and was chauffeured a larger part of my life. Only the last few years that I started driving myself. Even then, I prefer my sister to drive or anyone else other than myself. I am horrible with directions and am not a very good driver. The roads here are narrow, curvy, and lots of up and down. It's a bit scary for me to drive. He gave me a car, and I use it to drive myself to his work place. He is as comfortable as I am, and right now, I'm not too comfortable driving myself around in a strange city. He expresses his concerns, but I've never felt him to be restrictive.

You've GOT to get yourself a motorcycle! I loved sewing those curves together while living in NC.

This is now in my fridge. I saw it last night and told Bruce that I need it. :D

(Those are small bottles of a single glass serving.)

DanaC 01-17-2016 03:29 PM

So he is keeping you barefoot!

Yes, I "viber" my sisters all the time, and my best friend calls me every so often to see how I'm doing. I've got no where to go yet, but if I need anything, Bruce will take me. I do have my "own" car. It's really his but he says it's mine. He uses the truck. He'll invite me to do stuffs with him but I can decline if I want to.

But if you don't drive, you'll never build up the confidence to be comfortable driving.

Lola Bunny 01-20-2016 02:24 PM

True...true....I'm starting to not tense so much when I'm driving at night now. Hihi....Another obstacle, driving when it's snowing. I see snow coming down looking out the window at the moment. Everything about driving makes me nervous, and I feel this in Houston too. :p:

xoxoxoBruce 01-20-2016 08:19 PM

You have reason to be nervous about driving in snow when you've never done it. The majority of drivers around here have grown up with it and driven in it every winter since the got a license... and still can't fucking do it right.

lumberjim 01-20-2016 09:20 PM

Low rpm, smooth direction changes, tires rolling, momentum is king. Inertia even.

zippyt 01-20-2016 11:17 PM

drive like an old man , slow start slow stop , traction is key , turn into the skid

Beestie 01-21-2016 04:33 AM

Pretend you are driving on top of a frozen lake and aren't sure how thick the ice is.

And, as Bruce points out, if Darwin studied people who drive in snow instead of animals and mother nature, he would have stopped writing after the first paragraph.

footfootfoot 01-21-2016 07:31 AM

Find a large parking lot or field with nothing to hit then drive fast and hit the brakes to practice sliding and spinning intentionally, keep going intil you get the feel of it and then practice regaining control and pulling through spins etc. It is a lot of fun and the only safe chance you'll have to practice the skills you need.

One fun thing is to get going pretty fast and then pull up on the e-brake while cocking the wheel! Wheee!
