I'm not watching Don Juan DeMarco.

I'm not watching Super Troopers. :p

I'm not watching Farenheit 911.

Elspode 09-05-2006 07:08 PM

I am not watching the "Left Behind" series of "films".

limey 09-10-2006 01:49 PM

I am not watching the Da Vinci Code ...

Hoof Hearted 09-10-2006 10:19 PM

I know I won't be watching The New World. Ever again.

Shawnee123 09-11-2006 11:57 AM

I am SO not watching anything with J Ho or her stupid ex-boyfriend in it.

I am not watching any Lords of any Rings

wolf 09-11-2006 07:41 PM

I'm not watching any Woody Allen Movies.

Undertoad 09-11-2006 08:05 PM

I have not seen nor will I ever see any Vin Diesel product.

wolf 09-11-2006 08:07 PM

I take it, then, that it's fruitless to try to convince you of the overall goodness of his body of work ... and you're too straight for me to use the overall goodness of his body as a reason to watch.

Undertoad 09-11-2006 08:16 PM

Fruitless is the right word. In the same way, I'm sure I can not convince you to see the next Lindsay Lohan vehicle.
:D

wolf 09-11-2006 08:23 PM

Very true. I'm very interested in seeing the newest Vin Diesel movie, Find Me Guilty, the one that's supposed to be showing off his acting skill, rather than his pecs.

The piece that he wrote and directed himself is very good. I think it is called Multi-Facial.

wolf 09-11-2006 09:34 PM

I've heard that called Short #9.

Meiso 09-12-2006 03:41 AM

My housemate has a range of fairly dodgy DVDs; I'm certainly not watching The Core or Stealth. :worried:

I'm not watching anything in it with the word 'Facial' in the title.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-13-2006 02:46 PM

Marnie wasn't very much fun. And there's Paul Verhoeven's gross mishandling of Starship Troopers. It may be Europeans are temperamentally unsuited to lensing a story so profoundly American and at bottom so libertarian.

dar512 09-13-2006 07:54 PM

I'd like to see at least one Heinlein story made into a good movie. As long as I'm wishing, I think Magic Inc. would make a good movie.

dude. that's crazy talk. i don't know whether to hope that you've seen it, and somehow thought it was unfunny, or that you're just sick of all the quotes, and won't watch it out of spite....but in any case, i urge you to reconsider. this flick is up there with anchorman, the yprincess bride...and, yes, the holy grail in terms of re-watchability. i recommend that all dwellars buy a copy. not rent, mind you......buy. i give it 5 out of 5 typing monkeys.

That's pretty much it.

I was a Will Farrel fan until I saw Anchorman. Now I'm not so sure.

Princess Bride was great, so if you think it's on par with that, then maybe I'll see it.

I've seen all Kevin Smith's movies . . . EXCEPT Jersey Girl. (No plans to either.)

Shawnee123 09-14-2006 10:10 AM

Hi Steve, nice to meet you!

Urbane Guerrilla 10-02-2006 03:40 AM

Dar512, I figure The Puppet Masters beat the "Heinlein hoodoo" about adapting his work to film. And don't forget Destination Moon, speaking of which, I'd like to see The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, though it's probably actually easier to make a movie of Time Enough For Love.

Another pipe dream: movie adaptations of Laumer's Retief stories. With scripts that poke a sharp stick into PC squeamoids, deeply and without apology. Some of the alien scenery should film up awful pretty.

morethanpretty 10-03-2006 12:32 PM

I don't want to see The 40yr Old Virgin or either of the Deuce Bigalow movies, or the Animal. So far I have to reason to see a porn flick either.
