Chat rooms almost kept me from getting my master's degree. The debil, they are.

I started trying out meebo.com yesterday... all your IM windows in a browser. It reminded me of this chat thing. (Labrat.... you cannot resist! :borg: ;) )

UG, you should be able to just click where it says "click here" in post #1, and a chat window opens up. I just tried it though, and it gave me a "page can't be displayed" error.

It's not that I didn't like what it is...it's that it doesn't work for me. Everything else I am able to do from my work computer...except this one thing. Bummer.

It was fun dropping into the chat room after my party Fri night.

I just worry that we'll lose the essence of the Cellar...chatting doesn't stay and can't be reviewed and commented on by others who aren't on at the time all the fun is happening. It is fun, so I hope some day I can try it and make it work! :)

yeah, but that's the beauty of it. it's NOT immortalized. you can speak somewhat freely and not have to worry about someone quoting you days later. for instance, .....OH, WAIT. what is said in chat, stays in chat....
