Da Bears

Excuse me, I just have a quick announcement.

Do not buy Devin Hester a Xmas gift, because he will only RETURN IT!

Da Bears. SUPERBOWL TIME! :fumette:

piercehawkeye45 12-25-2006 07:17 PM

No one said anything for this? I'm dissapointed.

Bears are a damn good team and as long as Grossman is on, they are damn near impossible to stop.

wolf 12-25-2006 07:23 PM

I loves daBears.

Undertoad 12-25-2006 07:28 PM

It's gonna be Eagles v Bears in Chi-town for a replay of the fog bowl to win the NFC.

wolf 12-25-2006 07:32 PM

They so fookin' better beat the Eagles, or I will probably end up having to do something embarrassing or demeaning in the workplace.

The customary punishment is to have to wear your opponent's jersey for an entire shift, although there was an incident in which a Redskin's fan (and Vietnamese potbellied pig owner) following a win by the Eagles, had to feed a roast ham dinner to the administrator of the hospital. Feed as in cut it for him and put bite-sized pieces into his mouth, feed.

piercehawkeye45 12-25-2006 07:35 PM

Haha, the worst I will get is a bunch of shit from my friends.

WabUfvot5 12-26-2006 08:23 PM

Right now the Ravens are looking really good to me. Bears certainly got a D# to match and better special teams but the Ravens generate more points and have a veteran QB in McNair. I'm not sold on Grossman at all. Even the best defense wears down if they are on the field too long.

Or maybe he'll fumble it. :p

piercehawkeye45 01-02-2007 09:37 PM

Blah, Grossman will do better. Can't go much lower than a 0.00 QB rating.

W.HI.P 01-13-2007 02:38 PM

He'll do just fine, Chicago will have no problem this week.

Now The Ravens defence cannot compare With Chicago's.
And the offence? its non-Existant.
Against the Colts? They stand no chance.

Its about to begin now anyways, so time will show as always

yeah, baby!

yesman065 01-21-2007 06:57 PM

Ugghh - New Orleans looked like crap and so is Indy right now. These games (at this point) aren't even competitive. booooooring.

N.E. vs Chicago - whoopie

wolf 01-21-2007 07:02 PM

You're just grumpy over the Eagles.

yesman065 01-21-2007 07:23 PM

Accurate diagnosis floW - and to make matters even worse, my son is a rabid Indy fan & I'm trying to support his team now that mine dead. Maybe I should just go clean the house or something instead.

SteveDallas 01-21-2007 07:53 PM

For those of use of a certain age, the prospect of a Bears-Patriots Superbowl brings back a horrible memory: The Superbowl Shuffle. (I can't believe it's not on Youtube... I found a copy here but it doesn't play sound for me so YMMV.)

Edit: OK, Youtube. Didn't come up on my first search.

piercehawkeye45 01-21-2007 08:54 PM

Go Bears!

I knew Rexy would pull through.....he didn't screw it up.

That's not a horrible memory! I was wondering if they'd be producing a remake, myself.

SteveDallas 01-21-2007 09:09 PM

I've already called in sick for Monday. I know I won't be able to function on no sleep. And I know I won't be able to sleep after watching that video.

wolf 01-21-2007 09:18 PM

I always forget how sensitive you really are.

Well, well, well - now I have a clean house and a happy son :p

SteveDallas 01-21-2007 10:47 PM

The Pats must have been distracted by the Shuffle.

Wolf, you know I'm all about sensitivity.

yesman065 01-21-2007 10:54 PM

Belicheck looked really pissed after the game - he didn't even shake Manning's hand when it was offered to him - thought that was kinda lame of him.

Yeah I know Griff - I ate my crow, quite happily, in my other post. See its the team I cheer for that loses when I watch. My son forced me out of the room from halftime until the final NE interception.

freshnesschronic 01-24-2007 01:35 PM

YEAH SUPER BOWL XLI! I STARTED THIS POST AND I KNEW IT'D COME TRUE! MY BEARS GOIN TO DA SHIP!

Shawnee123 01-24-2007 02:32 PM

Go Colts! :bolt:

deadbeater 01-29-2007 10:46 PM

Belicheck, do the psych job when you win the game. You, got to be an asshole who wins, not just look like an asshole.

He lost though?

W.HI.P 02-02-2007 07:33 AM

Both Peyton and Brian deserve the ring

freshnesschronic 02-04-2007 10:02 AM

SUPERBOWL CHAMPS OF XLI, 2007!

GIVE ME SOME SUGAR! I AM YOUR NEIGHBOR!

COLTS SUCK!
:dedhorse:

Sorry, I'm just a huge Bears, fan; gotta show my love!

WabUfvot5 02-04-2007 09:13 PM

This game did nothing to remove the thought that Grossman isn't an acceptable QB.

freshnesschronic 02-04-2007 09:46 PM

:bawling:
I was 1000% believing in a Bears win.....

I believe Rex will not be our starting QB next year, if he even makes the roster...I'm so sad.... :sniff:

piercehawkeye45 02-04-2007 10:13 PM

If Rex wasn't so inconsistant.

Elspode 02-05-2007 09:29 AM

The hell with the game. I thought Prince kicked ass, and in the pouring rain, even. Also, the Robert Goulet nut commercial was great.
