What psychological baggage are you carrying?

I associate all of mine with the sign of Scorpio. It dosn't matter if one believes in this stuff or not the issues for me are the same.

primitive stuff - eye for an eye

http://songsdomain.tripod.com/scorpio/page9.html

She's a person unto herself, not anybody's mate, servant, or property. If allowed to offer herself freely, she's capable of devoting her life. But if you demand or take for granted, you'll meet either with a cold, frosty glare and a deliberate reverse of what you ask for, or you'll suddenly get a screaming, ranting Valkyrie running at you with a spear.

Intolerance. She can accept anything in anybody except what she considers to be weakness of character - that is, the person who hasn't the strength to face himself. And she can be pretty scornful, and pretty scathing, if she feels let down.

But her expectations are high; and it isn't easy to live up to them. Basically, she expects that you, like her, should want to be constantly engaged in the great alchemical work of transformation, nothing less.

sense of justice is so keen and so sensitive and it's virtually inflexible

Betrayal is perhaps the thing she hates and fears the most. And if she feels betrayed, she's more likely to strike back than to turn the other cheek

I don't dwell on "baggage." I prefer to think the older I get, the more experienced and wiser I get.

At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Our generation only got like 4 channels on the TV when we were growing up, so we have all these shared memories of crap like that Samsonite commercial.

You've tried sprays and powders, but still you've got Ring Around The Collar!

Cloud 06-19-2007 04:11 PM

or the one it made me think of--OJ dashing through the airport!

elSicomoro 06-19-2007 04:34 PM

I don't think I have a whole lot of baggage...I try not to have it anyway. I'm too old to be dealing with too much stupid shit anymore.

My point: you're a woman, but a man might have the same sig, the same thought.

Cloud 06-19-2007 05:59 PM

well, I never said I was logical!

I try not to as well. People run so many tapes they may not even be aware of them.

Exactly BigV....Infact it is the kind of thing my ex boyfriend would say.

'Some' of what you post I expect from a guy who isn't very much in touch with himself or the female nature. I find men who plaster the word boob, pink and pussies around just to prove that 'he gets it' is a narrowly typified view females and it's odd comming from a girl. That's why I thought you were a guy.

Then with the body modification thing..maybe it makes sense.

...anyway. I am very niave and don't know very much so please don't take offense of me cloud. -peace- :)

Cloud 06-19-2007 07:09 PM

It's from The Owl and the Pussycat. Went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat, you know? It doesn't actually refer to anything genital at all.

I am a pink person with boobs who likes pussies. ;) I am very girly.

skysidhe 06-19-2007 07:55 PM

So you are goth?:)

Cloud 06-19-2007 07:57 PM

Only in my head, or as much as a grandmother of 6 can be. Did you see my answer in the proof of existence thread?

Late last night my son and I were watching Planet Earth. There was this one shot of chimps in the congo walking upright.

At that moment I knew that weird simile was is right on.

I went looking for apes that walk upright and found Oliver. I guess Oliver had 47 chromosones which made him more than a chimp.

Only I know why this makes sense. :p

Regardless it's a very interesting read.
