Aliantha's attention avarice advances alliteration attempts by assclown

Aliantha, in a surprise move, tailposted on spexxvets spanking thread. Her initial post that clicking the link was 'a waste of time' was ironic in that replying to say so was ...what? It seems a pattern that some follow....to pop into a thread after it has played and deride those involved by taking it seriously and making snooty comments. Fillibusterer, tw frequently employs this maddening method of mushmouthed manipulation when he is motivated to mock the masses.

It should be noted that the use of the phrase 'surprise move' should be read: "matter of time" for the purposes of this ironically intended and insipid idiotry.

Aliantha 09-01-2007 12:21 AM

Yay...I have my own thread posted by the king of everything.

yesman065 09-01-2007 12:23 AM

Damn I can't wait till school starts again.

Did LJ really goochie goochie goo Ali?

elSicomoro 09-01-2007 11:01 AM

Jim, could you please send me some of whatever the fuck you're smoking? It is apparently quite potent.

I have got to quit reading Cellar when I first wake up.

lj - I've done exactly that and I wish to apologize to the entire Cellar community. I've felt bad ever since I posted this:

The Cellar is a crazy place. I just spent, what, 10 minutes?, reading about toasters, then felt compelled to respond. Toasters? What do they put in the Cellar water?

lumberjim 09-01-2007 11:56 AM

I quit smoking, syc. maybe that's the problem.

elSicomoro 09-01-2007 02:19 PM

Perhaps...you're too creative now. :)

Urbane Guerrilla 09-04-2007 12:07 AM

I see somebody else's dictionary has an entry for mushmouthed.

Trilby 09-04-2007 07:02 AM

motivated to mock the masses.

YOINK!

He uses the cyber date-rape drug. On himself. Then he brutally attacks his penis. And likes it.

Flint 09-04-2007 10:34 AM

This first part is really funny:

But this part is completely unnecessary:

Adding too much information can ruin a joke. Next, more overkill:

It's a repeat of the "long/short" timing, from the first two lines. Too much of a good thing.

Spexxvet 09-04-2007 10:44 AM

I was trying to meet specific criteria:

...

Just that first sentence wouldn't have been serious, snooty, or mushmouthed enough.

Flint 09-04-2007 10:46 AM

Less is more. The first sentence was powerful. The additional text only diluted it, leaving it spread thin, and ineffective. :2cents:

Trilby 09-04-2007 10:50 AM

It's nice to see some literary criticism taking place here in the Cellar. Long overdue, I say.

Cicero 09-04-2007 12:24 PM

I think if she had separated those three comments only adding in between other people's posts it would have really worked.
An "LJ Streaming Narrative".
A new and innovative writing style. Whaddaya think? I might adopt it.

Flint 09-04-2007 12:29 PM

Demonstrate?

Cicero 09-04-2007 12:39 PM

Well, say I brought up possible contents of LJ's underwear drawer.

Flint 09-04-2007 12:43 PM

What is the "new and innovative writing style" ???

Cicero 09-04-2007 12:51 PM

I'm getting to that Flint. I am demostrating. The new and innovative writing style is the "LJ Streaming Narrative."

Now say I brought up possible contents of LJ's underwear drawer as an example. (this is fiction folks and not intended as a jab)
Again.

Flint 09-04-2007 12:56 PM

Okay, let's say you brought up the possible contents of LJ's underwear drawer. As an...example. Of...something.

Cicero 09-04-2007 01:12 PM

Lj scowls and folds up the binoculars, and goes to the back bedroom and opens the drawer.

Flint 09-04-2007 01:16 PM

Flint falls asleep at his desk. He falls and hits his head on the keyboardddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd... . . . like that?

Cicero 09-04-2007 03:17 PM

He digs through his latest copies of ass-masters and deposits the binoculars in his favorite hiding spot.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-05-2007 01:10 AM

The Savage and the Allegedly Savage

I think Spexx just said LJ gave it a real beating. You do that to egg whites, they get all white and foamy.

dude. there is NO point in instructing the over-dramatic on the finer points of humor. You sit at the cool table. spexx doesn't. that is the source AND the result of his tragic persona. I agree completely with your assesment of his failing, ....but if you'll notice...he assumes you are criticizing to hurt him instead of help. he's doomed to a life of envy and resentment. you're just rubbing it in.

spexx,.....what did you learn?

Aliantha 09-05-2007 01:23 AM

If one were to read a true streaming narrative from jimbo, wouldn't approximately every word be cock?

Edit: I meant every third word but upon reading the statement again I decided it was probably pretty close anyway.

As the guys practice one upmanship the true comedian sleeps.

Or whatever the hell your doing right now.

Cicero 09-07-2007 10:55 AM

Yeah- this "LJ Streaming Narrative" thing has already taken a nose-dive.

Back to the drawing board. Maybe I need to work on "LJ creative-nonfiction prose".

Or maybe I need to actually get some work done. Ummm...yeah. Work.
