Aren't we taking ourselves a little too seriously?

Has Flint taught us nothing!?

glatt 09-06-2007 04:05 PM

We knew it before Flint. He just opened the floodgates.

Remember Sandra Day O'Connor?

lumberjim 09-06-2007 04:15 PM

yeah....i do. im just saying, 'sall

i would rather have whole threads of goofiness that will just fall away into the abyss if they're not funny anymore than this kind of thing going on within threads that the serious folk are trying to pay attention to.

glatt 09-06-2007 04:26 PM

I haven't been paying that close attention. Has the silliness invaded the serious threads?

Actually, it would be awesome if there was a way to put certain threads on ignore. I don't need to see the word association thread any more, for example. But it keeps popping up.

I wouldnt know. i usually dont read that stuff. not that i know of, anyway. I'm just trying to get a sense of why BigV has taken this up as a mission. And to point out that while there are times when people can disrupt a good mix and a good conversation......gag threads are a bad example of that.

Big, jinx said it right. ...and i know ive heard it before.... if you dont like them, let them sink.

Your knees are dirty too. If you walk upright it is much better for your health.

Thin Stem. Guys have thin stems, chicks have thick ones....its why we can multitask and the ones with the dangly bits cant.

Some are persimmon, the tiki is cedar (FL red cedar), the owl is oak or persimmon... I don't recall.
Most are persimmon, my fave.

Thanks, rk. I know I had a specific reason for asking, but can't recall what it was. I guess that just shows how short my attention span - oh, look, monkeys.
