September 20, 2007: Frilled shark
http://cellar.org/2007/frilledshark.jpg
I would have guessed by the name that this was some sort of entree, but no; it turns out to be a rare primitive shark rarely seen alive because its natural habitat is 600 metres (2,000 ft) or more under the sea. But like many IotDs, we are seeing more and more under the sea that we've never seen before. This time it's seen because marine park employees caught the beast, at closer to our level. They think it surfaced because it was sick or something, and it died shortly after capture. Maybe you didn't look closely at those teeth. Look again. |
And it looks primitive too
Need evidence that sharks stopped evolving eons ago? Here tis. |
Y'know if you let your eyes go slightly out of focus so you can't see the (fucking amazing) teeth....it looks a little like a giant swimming cock
|
I was going to suggest that perhaps you, me & Ducks are not getting enough.
Then I looked at it as you suggested and you are right. (we're probably still not getting enough though) Is this where we talk about eating it? |
I believe that is traditional yes.
|
We shouldn't start without Sheldon
|
Yeah, its official, I aint getting enough!
I thought it was a big cock too, or maybe I wished it was? Anyways, I am up for eating it :) Speaking of Sheldon, I am watching Queer as Folk at the moment. How HaWt are gay guys and how much do they like to get their gear off? Is it like that really? |
yet another reason to merely look at the sea as opposed to going into it.
|
and it does look like a giant swimming cock.
|
Frilled for your pleasure
|
Looks just like those eels from Princess Bride.

You're right, it does. |

UT what about it's teeth? I can't tell if they are disgustingly decaying or multilayered up the ass.
|
Layered and each tooth has three sharp points.
|
"I will prove the humans are caring and to prove it I'll surface and visit them. I shall return shortly....."
|
Funky.
|
I think it's a prehistoric dolphin.
|
Think they ate it afterwards? Out of curiosity? I mean ... maybe a scientist took home just a bite. If I only had one bite I would probably pan-sear it with butter. But, if I had two I would pan sear the first, and steam the second. The steamed one would be closer to the true taste. The seared one would just be a more memorable and favourable interpretation ... which is a good thing if you have to report on the taste afterwards.

There's a video here.
|
anyone care to lend me 875 dollars to buy THESE teeth?

Welcome to the Cellar btw |
That shark looks cool, and could be mistaken for a sea serpent. Heck, if sailors months out at sea can think a manatee is a mermaid...
|
Gotta love a thread where the women discuss their lack of cock to eat!
Nothing like teeth to ruin a blowjob, though. |

Yes... well.. after seeing those, I have to admit that it looks far less like a cock now. |
Anything eaten by this guy *stays* eaten.
