What a cool cat he was. We'll miss him.

Razzmatazz13 10-03-2007 02:32 PM

Sorry for your loss LJ and family...mine just died a few months back, I miss her still.

Pie 10-03-2007 02:36 PM

What a great name. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

Bullitt 10-03-2007 02:38 PM

He looks like the chill badass type. Likes to hang around, do whatever, but cross him and the darkest pit of hell will feel like Daytona Beach compared to what he's got in store for you.

orthodoc 10-03-2007 03:08 PM

What a beautiful cat, LJ. My condolences.

Kumbulu 10-03-2007 03:43 PM

LJ, I'm so sorry. They take a piece of your heart when they go. Take comfort in the fact that he has left a paw print on your heart too.

How did you come to name him Bunyip?

limey 10-03-2007 04:07 PM

Sorry to hear of your loss, LJ.

Undertoad 10-03-2007 04:09 PM

A fine cat indeed... sorry to hear of this loss.

jester 10-03-2007 05:31 PM

Very sorry about the loss of your cat.

theotherguy 10-03-2007 05:35 PM

Sorry for the loss.

DanaC 10-03-2007 06:04 PM

So sorry Lj. *raises a glass* To Bunyip!

DucksNuts 10-03-2007 06:16 PM

Bye Bunyip....you will be missed by the Lumbers family.

Sorry for the loss.

Cloud 10-03-2007 07:11 PM

ooooh, I'm so sorry. Looks like my baby. Wonderful picture to have and to keep, though.

monster 10-03-2007 09:11 PM

I'd get in trouble if I offered a recipe at this point, right?

he was the same age as the cats we had to leave with MIL in England. It's a good age, but I'm not looking forward to getting "that call".

he looks that a true SRIUS CAT in that pic. I bet you had fun with him in those 14 years. Sorry he's gone.

bluecuracao 10-03-2007 11:25 PM

Goodbye, Bunyip. :(

Shoot2Kill 10-03-2007 11:37 PM

Nice looking cat , sorry to hear he's gone . We always had Siamese cats when we were growing up , way back in the 60's .....

rkzenrage 10-03-2007 11:54 PM

Sorry man.
Sam (Samantha), looked just like em', we were both 21 when she went.

Sundae 10-04-2007 04:48 AM

Like Monster said, a damn good age.
So sorry he's gone. A fitting tribute to your love for him that you posted.

bigw00dy 10-04-2007 05:55 AM

Lets spill some on the curb for our homie bunyip.

Godspeed

Flint 10-04-2007 08:38 AM

I'm sorry about your cat, lumberjim. I've never shared this with anyone, but my cat died in the WTC on 9/11. . . . All nine times.

LabRat 10-04-2007 09:20 AM

That stinks guys. I am really sorry. Unfortunately I am not a cat person (severely allergic), but always thought Siamese were particualrly neat, because they get their coloring based on temperature. Your was beautiful.

My sincere condolences.

wolf 10-04-2007 01:16 PM

Condolences to the whole family, Jim.

He looked like a very imperious cat.

I'm sure he'll be missed.

Cats are furniture.

The couch doesn't come when I call it.

I really like my couch.

It is cuddly.

See, like I said, cats are furniture.

Elspode 10-05-2007 12:47 AM

Man, losing a kitty is just the worst. Condolences to you and yours. 14 years is a pretty good run for a fuzzybutt, but you always wish you could have them forever.

Every time we adopt a new cat, I wonder if it will be the one that outlives me.
