what would be cool...
ya know what would be cool? if we all made the roads "hoof-friendly", ditched our cars and rode horseback everywhere.
THAT would be freakin' COOL. |
you're trippin.
what would be cool is: if I could telecommute |
I was thinkin' apparate...
Do you know how much I would save in gas $ and time?? (actaully, this is funny because my daughter and I have been talking about this in the car lately. Spooky.) |
Here in Texas we already ride horses everywhere, didn't you guys know that??

Imagine the horse doo all over the place with population we have now.. Imagine |
don't worry, we have lots of illegals to clean up the poo now, bullitt.
|
There you go lookout. Clean up our horse doo illegals, then get back to picking lettuce. Mmmm.
|
... and in exchange, we'll give your kids a free education, all the way through a PhD if they can hang with it, and all the free medical care you can eat at the downtown ER.
Sounds like a good deal to me. |
see? it's a win/win. everyone is happy.
|
Instead of having the illegals pick up horse poo, why don't we just go to rickshaws?
|
oooh, but can i buy and sell them if i want a faster model? wait, that sounds like it might have been tried. I think I'll pass on that.

Horseback riding is dangerous. My daughter was flung by a horse irritated by something, (we suspect a big biting insect thingy) for no reason. Attach them horses to a trap and take your chances. At least you can't be thrown. And as regards horses poo it's natural and good. If you can put it in an hemp sack it facilitates roses and celery growth. The former is beautiful and the latter is heaven in summer salads. (involves putting horses poop in hemp sacks and soaking in a covered trough free of insects) - but hey, who said life was easy? Lovely celery though.

riding in cars is dangerous. People can be killed! They get killed off horses too. Like my cousin who was thrown and the horse rolled on her head which caused a massive stroke somehow and she never regained consiousness. She was 21. Very sad day.
Horse poo is good. Cow poo is better. Chook poo is ultimate. |

Wtf is a chook?
|
look: I'm not sayin' anything about 'safety' or 'poo'----I'm saying wouldn't it be COOL!
I do the Big Picture stuff. |
The only good thing about going to all horses and ditching cars is we would have less interference from outsiders. Well that is until the Chinese showed up with tanks, then we would be hosed.
|
Chook = Chicken in all it's forms.
Feed the chooks. Roast a chook. Pluck a chook. A rooster is still a rooster though. |
ahhhhh we say the same thing but it's spelled chuck :) as in hallo chuck!
|
hmmm, maybe bicycles are slightly more practical,
they're a lot cheaper i'll tell you that |
Ullo there Timo:) welcome to the cellar!

except sometimes, when we say chicken we mean marijuana. ond other times we mean fraidie cat.
|
When we say chook we mean chook and nothing else. Pronounced just like it sounds.
What's your point lookout? |
man...you are salty today. maybe you should sit a few plays out?
|
Chuck isn't used to describe chickens (it's never used as in feed the chucks) but it is used as a term of endearment and means chicken.
|
I'm ok. Aren't I allowed to respond to someone implying there's a problem with the way we speak in Australia?

The government hasn't taken away guns Merc. It's just your perception of the situation.
Anyone can have a gun if they want it. They just have to register it and keep them locked up etc so kids can get them etc. There are restrictions on some types of guns and there are no machine guns etc allowed 'for personal use'. |
If I didn't have my 'personal use' machine gun, I don't know what I'd do!

Anytime Ali - anytime.

Getting back to horses, can you say HORSE FLY? Imagine all your neighbors with a 2 or 3 horse garage. Can't kill the flies, though, might upset the environment.
|
What would be cool, is if I had magic roller skates that could propel me along.
So when I am trying to do too much in my lunch hour I can switch them on and get where I'm going much faster. I don't need them all the time - I am happy with the effort involved in normal walking. Just not when I have 10 mins of my lunchbreak left and am still in the centre of Greenwich because I spent too long window-drooling over impractical shoes I can't afford. |

Would people be tipping their hats in greetings? Would road rage be diminished? On the freeways how many horses would make a pile up? ( just teasing ) :) I love horses. Quote:
At my last job I thought this very same thing. I said as much to a coworker. There are times when rollerskates ARE needed. * nod* |
