Cellarites on facebook
I just joined Facebook. Anyone on Cellar have a Facebook account? So far, I've found SunSparkz.
|
There are a number of us on there. I have a couple. I'm under my real name on facebook. Trish Williams if you want to look me up. Trish Williams if you don't. :)

Facebook? Meh. You can always look me up on Introvertster.
|
I'm there, too, but do very little with that site.
|
Typical college student, I'm on there. PM for request.
|
It's funny, I signed up on Facebook almost a year ago because I read somewhere that ticketmaster was giving away ticket coupons or something if you joined their group on Facebook. I must have missed the deadline, because I got no ticket offer. Or maybe it was a scam.
But since I've been on, I've had people from out of the blue contact me after almost 25 years since I've last seen them. Three of them in the past week. Kinda cool to reconnect with an old acquaintance for a couple of e-mails. Anyway, PM me and I can give my info. I'd be happy to make any of the regular Dwellars a Facebook connection. |

Besides that, all the spam crap you get from facebook shits me though. |
Hmmm... sounds like a good way to do it. PM if you want my Facebook address, too.
|
Actually, it did list people who were also friends with Undertoad, so this might be some other Cellar people.
Maybe we should all claim to be members of Cellar University Class of 2008. That's one nice way to group. |
I'm there, but as Comcast has been buggering me for the past two weeks, my 'Net access is spotty at best, and nonexistent most of the time when I'm actually home.
|
I'm on there...if you go to Tony's page on there and look up his friends, you will certainly see me.
|
I'm not on facebook... am on Myspace and LiveJournal though
|
I'm on both Facebook and Myspace. PM me if you would like the info.
|
fb friended UT!
win. |
If anybody's LinkedIn they can find me there too. I'm not sure what the value is, but there it is.
|
UT, you should totally start a cellar.org group and invite all your cellarite friends.
|
Everyone I love is here.
Outside are the unquiet dead.. I'll stay in the Cellar thanks. |
I'm on facebook (in spite of my earlier snark). PM me if you can't find me (and want to).
|
I just got a facebook, i never intended to but a friend kept telling me to. I told her she could make me a facebook page then I'd have one, I thought that would be the end of it, but no she went and actually made it. So, PM me I guess I'll use it. I also have a myspace: myspace.com/morethanpretty if you're interested.

Here's the link to The Cellar on facebook.
|
Can someone help me out with Facebook?
Do I have to give my real details. For many, many reasons I do not want to be easily identifable on the internet. I mean on here, people get to know the real me, they see photos I would never make public anywhere else, they do know my real name, my address, my phone number etc. But an outsider wouldn't be able to find me here just from my name. Do you see? |
Yes you do. Or so I hear
|
I'm no Facebook expert, but I think the whole point of Facebook is that it IS you. And people CAN find you. If you don't want that, then there's not much point in joining.
The real community is here in Cellar.org. Don't feel like you have to join Facebook to avoid missing anything. There's no party going on over there. It's all over here. |
Quote:
But Glatt's right, you're not missing much. |
Yes, it's a very boring little group if I do say so myself. lol
If you want to see other people's facebook details though you do need to join, but you can do it under the name you use here if you want SG. If you do join, just let us know and we'll all invite you to our pages so you can get more gossip...or less as the case may be. ;) |
Ah, yes I suppose there isn't much point in not being me on there.
It's partly nosiness I think - wanting to see other people! I'll stay here. |
Yeah not much use SG. Like i said, some1 made me mine, so I have one. W/e tho.
|
I'm on Facebook...but I tend to use it mostly for politics. I don't much want to link up the two *grins* I'd hate for any political acquaintances to read the stuff I write on the Cellar :P

I just looked up the North Yorkshire County webpage. And I thought our politicians were frightening.:thepain: The names are definitely more interesting, something like Mrs. Gwendolyn Fieldstone-Hammertoes Smythe-Davies. |

*chuckles* no. But I have divulged things on here that could damage me. More importantly, could damage my faction were the B&T (bastards and twats) in my own party to find them.
I like to be open in here. If there was anything more than a fleeting chance of one of them finding me in here I'd never be able to show weakness or vulnerability. [eta] I'm pretty sure I am not looking for a political career. I toyed with it for a year or so, but I am less and less inclined to see myself in that role. I am a councillor for another 3 and a half years, unless I were willing to force a bye-election, which I can't currently imagine being. After that I very much doubt I'll stand again. Bit by bit I am disentangling myself and making myself less the person that people think of when looking for volunteers/allies. I still leaflet and stuff, and I go to some meetings. But I don't want to find myself drifting into a political career in 4 or 5 years because I am the automatic choice for the Left in our branch, to replace L as MP. There's something quite seductive about coming into a group and being drawn in in that way. Being brought along as a potential successor and being viewed as a player....yeah, that's nice. But that isn't my life. That's not who I am. |
Speaking of which, I wonder whatever happened to that jerk that was giving Dana Hell.
|
There's some kind of hearing in November.

can't find him - or you for that matter.
|
I have both Myspace and Facebook. I use myspace to blog as my diary, but that darn site keep on stalling on me. And I have a friend who has a music page, so I joined. As for facebook, I wanted to see someone's pix, but this girl will only upload it onto her facebook page. So, I joined. I'll add y'all so I won't look like a loser with no friends. :biglaugha
|
found an old childhood friend on there. . . had to join. Plan on using it very minimally as it has my real name on there.
and besides, not sure I want to keep track of EVERY damn person I know, used to know, or who used to know me. just not THAT social. |

That's the most wonderful thing about social networking I think. When Madz contacted me...blew me away. Like opening a portal to 1991 *smiles* |

WHO ME?
no really. what's it like being crazy all the time? |
Dunno. Do you wanna ask him or shall I?
|
ask who? wtf are you talking about?
|
wtf are YOU talking about?
No, you. No, you. ;) |
I can't believe it took you so fucking long to join, Jim. You suck!
|
Yeah Jimbo. You suck.
|
And not even well.
|
Okay, so I've decided to add all of y'all who's on the Cellar FB page. My feelings won't be hurt if anyone decided not to add me. :p

I'm still not completely used to Facebook's ways. I was momentarily confused the other day when it told me that Lumberjim and my sister-in-law were putting presents under the tree. Then today, my brother and some chick I knew in college were both doing something. When I see "Jim and Nancy" are doing something, the implication is that they are together, but Jim doesn't even know Nancy in the real world.
