Woody Harrelson is off his meds

clearly.

I hope the judge throws that paparazzi asshole in jail for falsely impersonating a zombie.

richlevy 04-12-2009 04:01 PM

FYI, Mr. Harrelson's father is an alleged contract killer serving time in Supermax. He's also alleged to have been in town during the Kennedy assassination, one of three 'tramps' found hiding after the assassination.

Actually, the case that landed him in prison didn't have a lot of hard evidence.

capnhowdy 04-12-2009 04:11 PM

I guess white men CAN jump.

Beestie 04-12-2009 04:40 PM

Nothing more than a pulicity stunt for his upcoming movie under the assumption that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Was, not is. You didn't notice from your own cite that the man is dead? Been dead since 2007.

Yes, but it's the alleged part that throws me. If a person is dead but the allegation(s) against them have not been resolved.....

You're probably right that I should have stuck with was.

capnhowdy 04-12-2009 05:47 PM

He "can't hear Jimmy".
Excellent actor tho.... I loved him in "Anger Management". He was the spark on 'Cheers' for me. Very diverse.
'Play it to the Bone' was his best work, IMO.

jinx 04-12-2009 07:44 PM

He's awesome... I've loved him in everything. "A moment of realization is worth a thousand prayers".

Shawnee123 04-12-2009 08:08 PM

Have you seen Transsiberian? He really does have quite a range.

Cloud 04-12-2009 09:16 PM

um. but. er. . . zombies?

Shawnee123 04-12-2009 09:22 PM

It is pretty funny!

From your link:

Quote:

"I wrapped a movie called 'Zombieland,' in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character," Harrelson said in a statement issued Friday by his publicist.
Still, the guy was telling Woody "this is assault man" and followed him for four more minutes, and the paparazzo is on the phone:
Quote:

"I'm being chased by Woody Harrelson while I'm talking to you," the photographer says as he talks to an unidentified person on a cell phone.
Worse than zombies! Zombies move very slowly. Or they used to. Zombies may have some energy drink thing these days. :p

sugarpop 04-12-2009 09:29 PM

heh. :D

Cloud 04-12-2009 09:54 PM

zombie paparrazis are a pretty frightening thought, alright.

You realize Mr. Harrelson is just being a smartass, right? He knows that he was morally right, but legally wrong--you can't hit a paparazzi photographer no matter how much of a douchebag he's being. He knows he's going to get slapped with a fine or something, but in the meantime he's fixing a bad PR scenario by using humor to pimp his new movie instead.

Usually you are being chased by things behind you, not in front of you. Lying dickhead.

capnhowdy 04-13-2009 06:51 AM

Most people have very limited conversations with "unidentified" people. I wouldn't be surprised if the photog wasn't in on the game too.
Yep. Definitely a pr stunt.

Trilby 04-13-2009 08:37 AM

I find the anti-zombie sentiment in this thread unacceptable.

I bid you good-day.

Wanna bet? I believe Alex Baldwin won his case when he smacked a paparazzi for taking pictures of his new baby when they came home from the hospital.

IMO, paparazzi cause more trouble than they are worth. Look what happened to Princess Di. Yes, actors are public people, but that does not mean they aren't entitled to some privacy as well. IMO, all they owe us is their best performance, or whatever it is that they do for a living. They should not have to put up with being stalked so someone can sell their picture to the highest bidder.

sugarpop 04-13-2009 10:30 AM

I think sometimes paparazzi want to be attacked just so they can file suits for outrageous damages. $2.5 million? for being decked and a camera being injured? Are you fucking kidding me? You can beat the shit outta me for that kind of money.

classicman 04-13-2009 12:07 PM

Stop buying their products and having interest in these knuckleheads and their lives and all will be solved. Oh wait that would require the general public to....
Nevermind - as you were.

Agreed.

When did the peoples right to know become the peoples right to stalk you wherever you are and publish even the most personal of activities? Stalking is illegal. I thought.........All zombies want are brains anyway, and you have to protect your daughter from stalking zombies. It's just a fact. :p That zombie got off easy I think. You usually have to light them on fire and remove the head right?

sugarpop 04-13-2009 01:46 PM

Something like that. Or is that vampires? :D

The stalking laws are not strong enough in this country.

They may still try and put the camera viewfinder to the empty eyesocket. That can't work well.:headshake:3eye::neutral:
