What do you get if you cross a beest with a monster?

.

glatt 11-23-2009 01:36 PM

That's cool. Nice study.

monster 11-23-2009 01:40 PM

Thanks. Looking old, though. Sigh.

anyone else?

limey 11-23-2009 02:27 PM

Yeah, I'm looking old, too ... [sigh] ...

DanaC 11-23-2009 02:28 PM

I'm both looking and feeling old right now :P

casimendocina 11-23-2009 05:33 PM

So much for eyes being sexy....that close up, they're just scary.

monster 11-23-2009 06:57 PM

You think these are bad -take a gander at glatt's in the treasure hunt thread.... (no offence, mate, but....)

glatt 11-23-2009 07:15 PM

And I didn't even post the one where my contact lens was starting to get dried out by being only a couple inches from 5 light bulbs, and me holding my eyes open for so long. Maybe I should post that one. It's a fresh contact. Brand new this morning. But really gross looking as it begins to shrivel.

ZenGum 11-23-2009 07:52 PM

Jinx, are those both your eyes? Different colours, cool.

I no one going to say I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE ?

Hi ya.

Elspode 11-23-2009 08:42 PM

Is it creepy that I can tell LJ's eye from someone else's even though I've never met him? I think that's creepy.

bluecuracao 11-23-2009 08:58 PM

I'd like to see some more cellar-eyes--it's putting me in a good mood for some strange reason.

hector thinks LJ's eye looks familiar too. and Merc's are "creepy" :eyeball::eyeball:

(and jinx's made him say "Whoa", but he refused to elaborate further )

skysidhe 11-24-2009 04:27 AM

Those bedroom eyes make anyone say whoa.

I hope bedroom eyes is a compliment. lol It was less weird for a female to say than sultry eyes.

Just to keep the threads tidy, I'm going to include my eye picture from the treasure hunt thread in here too.

Shawnee123 11-24-2009 09:01 AM

I can't get a picture that isn't all blurry--all you see is a brown spot (no jokes please...haggis) and light reflection. I wonder what setting I should use on my camera?

glatt 11-24-2009 09:03 AM

do you have a flower mode? If so, use that. And experiment when it's away from your eye to see how close you can get to something when you shoot.

Shawnee123 11-24-2009 09:05 AM

There might be a flower mode hidden somewhere. I'll have to look. Thanks!

glatt 11-24-2009 09:39 AM

And when you are experimenting, try zooming in and out. Lenses are set up differently. Some let you get really close when you are zoomed out, and with others, you can get a tighter shot of something by holding the camera far away and zooming in.

Probably easiest to set the camera on box or something, on a table. Then rest your chin on the table, so you can try different distances keeping everything steady.

Shawnee123 11-24-2009 12:08 PM

I'll try tonight. Thanks for the help guys.

Jacquelita

Sundae 11-25-2009 04:34 PM

Doesn't work in this light (night here) so will take photos in daylight tomorrow.
I'll get both the 'rents so you can see how unusual it is that I turned out to have blue eyes.

Tulip 11-25-2009 05:43 PM

Glatt: That is a very neat picture! I like it...:D

Btw, I like everyone else's eye picture too. I got dizzy trying to take mine, hehe. Haven't posted it up yet cuz they're not nice as everyone else's here. :P I guess I will post it up as is.

Trilby 11-25-2009 09:25 PM

I can see LJ in the reflection of jinx's eye.

Jacquelita has those sexy girl-shaped eyes that the sexy girls on the Simpson's have - if you'll notice, marge, lisa, maggie and other females have those roundy-round eyes but when a femme fatale is drawn, she's got those slanty-sexy eyes.

i know waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much about the simpsons.

Here ya go...(although I wouldnt blame you for not using it)

monster 11-30-2009 10:50 PM

Are you sure you're not British? Why wouldn't I use it? That's a great pic, a great eye and great skin. And way more eyelashes than I have. Now what's your problem with it? Or do you think I just totally, like, hate you? :p

morethanpretty 11-30-2009 10:59 PM

Uhm my pupil is really large? I don't know, when I posted it last night I didn't really like it. Today, it doesn't look so bad.

The rest of my skin does not look so great right now, its decided to be acne-prone again. I'm still refusing to wear makeup though. People get pimples, its not the end of the world....right? *goes and hides head under blankets*

monster 11-30-2009 11:21 PM

RIGHT.

TheMercenary 01-16-2010 11:44 AM

The Iris of the eyes are so beautiful.

Ok, except for the one above, not so beautiful.

Cicero 01-16-2010 01:43 PM

Nice eyez.....:) Fantastic!

You guys already know I have a slight case of heterochromia so I won't bother.

TheMercenary 01-16-2010 03:55 PM

You can show us anyway. I would love to see them and bet they are beautiful too.

So does Hebe. xob's eye thread prompted me to search and see if I had even posted about that -hence the resurrection of this thread. We're trying to find how common it is and whether there are more women than men with heterochromia iridium ....because when it came up in discussion she says she prefers dark haired men, so I asked her about eye color and she says "one of each" (like her) and it occurred to me that the few heterochromic people we have met have all been women. Hebe has one green and one brown eye. She may be headed for a life of celibacy or leasbianism unless she relaxes her criteria, methinks

monster 11-18-2010 12:10 PM

Ah, yes, we did discuss it. here are her eyes three years ago. A sharp reminder of how fast she's growing up -those are the eyes of a baby!
