There are six degrees tonight

Not nearly enough of them. I guess I oughtta take out the screen and put the glass in the storm door. Prolly not gonna have any more flies or wasps until the spring.

Yeah, prolly I should do that.

xoxoxoBruce 12-17-2009 01:03 AM

Don't make any snap judgments, those flies are sneaky. ;)

Griff 12-17-2009 05:29 AM

I'm thinking about putting up the snow fence... oopsie.

glatt 12-17-2009 08:10 AM

Foot, you should wait until it gets a little warmer out before you go messing with screens and whatnot. It's too cold to be out there now.

Troll 12-17-2009 11:50 AM

Six degrees of separation between you and a proper homeowner, maybe mookmookmook.

spudcon 12-17-2009 11:53 AM

It was 4 degrees when I got up this morning. Had flies on my screen yesterday.

TheMercenary 12-17-2009 01:49 PM

It was 39 here and we are freezing our butts off. I miss summer already.

Sundae 12-17-2009 03:56 PM

We might have snow tomorrow.
Well, much of the country will - but we're protected in the Vale of Aylesbury.
Mum & I are very excited.

"Bitterly Cold" says tonight's forecast, down to -2
That's 28 degrees to you :)

Griff 12-17-2009 07:33 PM

6° here right now.

monster 12-17-2009 08:42 PM

-1 degree here

.......centigrade.... that's about 30 of your worthless 'merkin degrees :p

jinx 12-17-2009 08:44 PM

We have 25... probably a couple more in the city.

ZenGum 12-17-2009 09:20 PM

25 degrees here, lovely fresh breeze, a few puffy white clouds against a beautiful blue sky ...

25 centigrade, suckers :D .

Yeah, that is about right, but they made the beach babes put their bikini tops back on for the photos.

TheMercenary 12-18-2009 02:32 PM

Bruce I love that Aussie clip. Thanks for the laugh.

TheMercenary 12-18-2009 02:32 PM

:D

Sundae 12-18-2009 02:34 PM

Help needed with the above Merc.
I get it's a weather map of the States, beyond that I'm clueless.

I used a paint program and wrote all over it and showed my location, saved it and uploaded it, it uploaded without all the stuff that I wrote on it. :( So now I have deleted it.

Latest prediction here. Many dwellars impacted.

xoxoxoBruce 12-19-2009 02:27 AM

I've always wanted 8-12 inches.

ZenGum 12-19-2009 03:44 AM

Shaw can give that to you with her strap-on.

Undertoad 12-19-2009 10:20 AM

Well the forecast has gone up and now you're due for 14-22".

I don't think anybody wants that

xoxoxoBruce 12-19-2009 10:24 AM

14 to 22 is a handicap.:(

Undertoad 12-19-2009 10:26 AM

It's the score of tomorrow's Eagles game :D

TheMercenary 12-19-2009 10:28 AM

I would like to see D.C get 22 inches and shut down for a few days.

glatt 12-19-2009 10:41 AM

It's break now. Congress went home. There is no government here right now.

TheMercenary 12-19-2009 10:51 AM

Damm, missed em.

glatt 12-19-2009 12:05 PM

I just shoveled a path from the front door to the street, in the off chance that they might actually deliver the mail today. The stuff I shoveled was a foot deep.

Pie 12-19-2009 03:51 PM

We're in the 14-22 band. My husband and I were out earlier taking off the first foot from our driveway; the US Mail SUV came through to deliver the mail... and promptly got stuck.

The dog went out into the back yard a few minutes ago. It's half-way up her chest. She has to bound from place to place. I have no idea how she's going to pee or poop when the snow's up past her ass.

only happened 14 times in the past, so I'd be surprised

Undertoad 12-19-2009 04:20 PM

Sir, that is a remarkable find, and well-played.

Pie, that reminds me... the little dog will not go out in it unless there's a path cleared for her. Given the wind conditions tonight I do expect there will be improper indoor pooping by the dog tonight. I think even if I shovel a path, she'll refuse to go out. That's my prediction, sad as it is.

that IS a great site. bookmark it

the most common score since 1920 has been 20-17, occurring 230 times

Sundae 12-20-2009 05:02 AM

We had no post Friday or Saturday.
More snow predicted for tomorrow, so not sure if we'll get any then either.
We're on the end of the round, so it's possible that the postman started out but just didn't get to us.

Fingers crossed he reverses his round on Monday (this happens occasionally) if he's out.
Because I have three things coming from eBay and a Secret Santa still to arrive!

xoxoxoBruce 12-20-2009 09:11 AM

You could go the the post office when he starts his rounds, and give him a hand. ;)

Sundae 12-20-2009 09:33 AM

I honestly would if it was a possibility.
I want my lovely prizes!!!

SamIam 12-20-2009 09:35 AM

Its 9 degrees here, but clear and sunny. It will probably get up to 40. Might have snow for Christmas!

This is what's left of our money shot here.

Shawnee123 12-27-2009 10:34 AM

Christmas is over. It's time for spring. Come on, hurry up! (selectively forgetting that January and February are the worst of winter months.)
