Something for Clodfobble

Just a little something until I can fulfill my promise to Clodfobble. :p (Not sure where to post personal videos, so I'm putting it here.) This is a bit embarrassing so I may take this down after a while, hehe.

xoxoxoBruce 12-30-2009 02:21 AM

Beautiful, I'm sure she'll love it.

I'm doubly sure all the guys will love watching you do it.

Sundae 12-30-2009 04:44 AM

Tulip you are SO cute!
And I love your accent.
Absolutely adorable.

Of course, I am also impressed by your talent. And that you have all that in addition to wit.
But I can't help my first impressions being so shallow :)

Gravdigr 12-30-2009 05:27 AM

I'm holding up my lighter! Play some Skynyrd!!!!!!!!:devil::devil:

(I will think of this every time I see a pearly shell...)

That was lovely Tulip!

Elspode 12-30-2009 03:56 PM

So glad to know that we have a skilled uke player here! Especially one so much cuter than Tiny Tim.

That's the same tune as Don Ho's "Tiny Bubbles", I believe. Well done, lass!

Nirvana 12-30-2009 05:01 PM

Awww! :)

morethanpretty 12-30-2009 10:54 PM

lumberjim 12-30-2009 11:39 PM

this is an earworm. I want to do a version with wicked amounts of distortion and double bass drums.

monster 12-31-2009 07:44 AM

so cool!

skysidhe 12-31-2009 07:54 AM

encore!

richlevy 12-31-2009 09:24 AM

That....was....AWESOME!

You have a really sweet voice and it sounds like you hit all the right chords, not that I'm a ukulele expert.

Can I have your permission to download it to my media player?

That's a beautiful song. I'm considering posting an a capella version to Youtube and starting a Cellar meme.

Awww...shucks.... Y'all making me blush. :p Thank you everyone, from Bruce to Richlevy, for your kind words. Y'all flatter me. :o

Elspode: I never knew "Pearly Shells" and Don Ho's "Tiny Bubbles" are of the same tune. How interesting!

Richlevy: Hmm....I guess it's okay for you to download it. Just please promise to never distribute it anywhere. :D

Lumberjim: Have as much fun as you want. ;)

xoxoxoBruce 01-02-2010 12:20 AM

Encore, encore... whistle, clap, stomp. :D

Not a problem. I won't give anyone else a copy, but I might play it for some friends, maybe even my grandson.

Hihi....I was thinking more along the lines of posting it somewhere on the net rather than giving someone a copy. :p But I guess it's okay for others to see or hear it.

Do we have a bowing smilie? Like the one below? :D

xoxoxoBruce 01-02-2010 01:49 AM

Sure, here it is... :ggw:

Tulip 01-02-2010 02:05 AM

Dude, that ain't bowing. :whofart: But I would like to see you bow that way. :frog:

You know what other smilie we need? The one like below! Do we have an equivalent here? :D

xoxoxoBruce 01-02-2010 02:08 AM

What the hell is that? Fluttering eyelashes? Leering? A nervous tic?

Tulip 01-02-2010 02:13 AM

Hahaha.....It's leering! Doggone it! That smilie won't work if someone thinks it's a nervous tick. :haha:

xoxoxoBruce 01-02-2010 02:33 AM

Need one that's a little more obvious, methinks.

You're looking for the Tex Avery eye popping wolf, which Jim Carrey recreated in The Mask.

TheMercenary 01-03-2010 06:15 AM

Tulip! That was great. You have a wonderful personality that shows through on that performance. Well done!:thumb2:

dar512 01-03-2010 11:43 AM

That was very nice, Tulip -- and very timely too. Mrs. Dar and I were just watching Donovan's Reef last night and a version of that plays a couple of times in the movie.

Just did a google and evidently Pearly Shells came from this traditional song: http://www.huapala.org/Pupu_A_O_Ewa.html

xoxoxoBruce 01-03-2010 03:43 PM

Are you shittin' me, pupa of a ewe? :bolt:

Tulip 01-03-2010 06:40 PM

Thank you Mercenary and Dar. :)
