What's your calendar?

So many calendars to choose from! Did you get a cute puppy one? A sexy pinup one? A wall calendar? A word-a-day? Pick it out or give to yourself? Or are you just scoffing at the straightjacket of time?

Mine is a giant planner, no room for pictures. But I have a small amount of choice when it comes to what hazy image is in the background--last year's was kind of beachy, this year's is an abstract grey-and-white flower thing.

But the stepdaughter got one with butterflies, and the stepson got one with desserts--no, not a misspelling, it's got giant pictures of oozing chocolate cake and whatnot.

oozing chocolate cake and whatnot . . .

dessert porn!

A big fat over stuffed leather bound planner with all things important in it. If I lost it things would go very wrong from that point forward.

The witches calendar sits in our kitchen every year, the men in my house also get me the datebook. I do not take that with me on a day to day basis, so it sits in the office, as it has the same info at the calendar. Now that our "office" will be replaced with a bedroom for oldest son... maybe I should use the datebook...hmmmmmm :)

Made one from Flickr (via SnapFish), and gave them out for Christmas. A yearly tradition.

I still have to pick one up.

I've got none. Still waiting for my boss to receive those free calendars so I can snatch it. :D

I have those, too! I love the datebook - very handy. I just wish it didn't say WITCH'S DATEBOOK on the front - some people are put off by that.

Mum got me one from 'I Want One of Those.com'

It has doggy related pics (food bowl, muddy floor etc) and each one has the words Pilau Brown Nose in it somewhere *grins*. I'll get a pic of it later and post.

I just threw out my home calendar I got for christmas last year, and realized I hadn't turned the page since June. :)

At work, I like the little desk one my brother gets from the organization for which he is director. Also, we get all kinds of school associated calendars. If I buy one, it's usually a humor one or lighthouses or wolfhounds or the ocean or something.

capnhowdy 01-02-2010 08:17 AM

I like Norman Rockwell.

House, M.D. Wall Calendar (Yes, 12 months of sexy House-ness!)

My carry around calendar is the One Spirit Book Club Planner thingy. It was cheap, and has sturdy covers. I don't find the Crackberry Calendar as easy to use as the Palm, and decided to try going back to a paper calendar this year.

DanaC 01-02-2010 12:01 PM

I am jealous. I want House on my wall!

Elspode 01-02-2010 01:01 PM

I use a Google calendar online with sync to my iPhone. It's how we keep the "which house is Patrick staying at today" schedule straight.

limey 01-02-2010 02:43 PM

Every year for many years a friend has sent me a Greenpeace calendar - they're great! But this year she didn't get it organised in time, so she gave me an Oxfam "patterns from nature" one. This is on the kitchen wall.
To carry around, I use my nokia phone synced with the pc ...

If you are a mother you should not be without one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Moms-Family-20.../dp/B002IERTNM

My wife has been using them for the last 10 years and saves them to keep track of most everything that happened. It is a great tool for busy families. If it is not on the calendar, kept on the frig in the kitchen, it is not going to be planned into the immediate future.

dar512 01-03-2010 03:12 PM

Samsung Epix synced with work calendar.
