Earthquakes
strange.
Another one in Indonesia http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSSGE6350L020100406 Things are shifting, no? Hati, Chili, now Indonesia.... What is next Calif? We can only hope:D kidding, would not wish that on anyone... silly people. |
There was a quake in Victoria a short while ago too. I personally don't think there's any doomsday prophesies coming true. I think it's just natural movement of the techtonic plates.
If my memory serves me correctly, there were a series of quakes about a decade ago in all the same sort of areas. |
I am not a doomsday person, but there have been a number of big ones lately.

Felt the Mexicali quake here -- just barely. I was seated and wondered why I was feeling a bit dizzy, like the seat was rocking back and forth. That was because it was; I could see a nearby door oscillating slightly. My wife and our roomie, who were both standing, didn't notice anything. The motion was that wave motion at the surface that comes of a powerful temblor a long way off, not the vertical motion of one that's under your feet.

I thought there was a recent quake in California?
I'm part of a John Barrowman email forum (blush) and there are plenty of Merkins on there. Someone in the area posted that there had been a recent quake and wondered if JB would have felt it (currently with you filming Desperate Housewives). Quick ETA - sorry, it's already been referenced in this thread. |

Wow. Even lil' old Adelaide had a tremble last night. Only 3.8 richters, with the epicentre about 50 km away, but I could still hear and feel it.

Tectonics. Yes the earth is only a few thousand years old, said the dinosaur. Sometimes I get the feeling that the earth is the Being. We are the parasites on It's back..somtimes.
