Is it alright to eat valentine chocolate for lunch?

I need an opinion on this.

footfootfoot 02-17-2011 03:00 PM

I think it is required.
Do you mean as lunch or with lunch? Not that it matters.

kerosene 02-17-2011 03:05 PM

Well, today it is sort of as lunch. I don't usually do this!

glatt 02-17-2011 03:09 PM

If it's all you have, then sure. But don't make a habit of it.

footfootfoot 02-17-2011 03:22 PM

yeah once a year at most. The rest of the year you have to make do with chocolates from easter, halloween, christmas teller. Maybe st.patty's day, others?

kerosene 02-17-2011 03:37 PM

I so rarely have chocolate in my house that belongs to me. Usually it belongs to the kids. I have other things to eat, but how good does a peanut butter sandwich sound compared to chocolates?

Happy Monkey 02-17-2011 03:44 PM

How about a peanut butter and chocolate sandwich?

kerosene 02-17-2011 03:45 PM

Now that has promise.

Sundae 02-17-2011 04:50 PM

No,
Wrong to eat it at all.

Grilled.

kerosene 02-17-2011 05:38 PM

I got them from my parents. My husband knows better than to give me chocolates.

Grilled has definite potential. Maybe deep fried would be better, though.

After all, it's not just for breakfast anymore...

Trilby 02-18-2011 08:20 AM

I just had a praline for breakfast.

My sis went to NOLA and brought a box back...

pure sugary heaven!

Perry Winkle 02-18-2011 09:30 AM

My wife got us tubes of chocolate and strawberry KY gunk. The strawberry is gross but the chocolate is pretty dang good.

Wish I could partake for lunch today...

Yes. There are no calories in Valentine's Chocolate, and you will be nourished by the love and caring they represent.

And the theobromides are good for you.

Oh what a lovely idea. I have a commercial chocolate and peanutbutter mix that is yummy over a toasted blueberry bagel.

Sundae 02-18-2011 05:22 PM

I had stuffed peppers instead.
If I can't get hotness and cheese (?!) in the sack I'll get it outside.

Damn boring healthy organic oatmeal ...

footfootfoot 02-19-2011 12:38 PM

I was free-basing fresh sweet red pepper for a while. Amazing how satisfying it is. cold, crunchy, sweet.
