And now no-one wants to be my friend on here...
No private messages for me??? Am I that damaged, I ask you? I guess I will continue in my miserable existence hoping things will get better, but I know they will not.
I was judged on my other thread, so I am starting a new one, and having some wine and happy pills. You just watch, I will make it. After all, this is NY. Love, Pam. |
Why would you want private messages?
And why, if the other thread didn't work out, have you started another? There are loads of other threads already in existence to which you can contribute. This new thread is jangling my warning bells. |
lemme tell ya - as someone who has posted whilst drinking and taking "happy pills" - the keyboarding is too precise. When I'm posting lit I make a lot of keyboard errors AND my posts either don't make any sense or are outright rude.
She's not drunk/high. She's trolling. |
can we verify that the IP she uses is in NY?
I'm actually thinking that it might be somewhat to the south west of there, maybe. |
and, forgive us for being skeptical, Pam, but we had just been having a small disagreement about how we treat new people on this board. Personally, I'm wondering if one of us is trying to illustrate a point.

You are correct. I do live in Queens. How did you know that?? I don't know why others would doubt where I say I was from... Always - Pam. |
Because you're not the only Pam here, that's why. And no, it's NOT me. Not my style.
Pamela |
Administrators and moderators can see your internet address, which leads back to a general location.
It was a little more specific than just "Queens" - it goes down to neighborhood level sometimes. But saying "Queens" limits you to being about 1 out of 2 million people, so I figured I wasn't giving anything away. |
So Pamale are you still going to keep your same user name or change it?

Many people have often doubted where I live, as I have posted on other sites about my epic failure of a life. I could never understand why people would always doubt why someone would lie about where they live. I do appreciate you clearing that up for the other posters here. Somebody was even kind enough to post a song about 'Brooklyn/Queens.' I like that song very much! I am feeling better today, and thank you for allowing me into the community. I like it here very much... Always - Pam |

Pam you must be in your 50s I don't think any young person familiar as you are with how a forum functions would sign all their posts when its obvious who made the post.[look to the left you will see my name] I have never seen this on any forum except from a generation used to hand written letters. On some of the email lists I am on you can barely get a younger person to say who they are. Maybe this is just another odd quirk of yours.

I see so much thoughtlessness in this world, that at times I just want to cry. People tell me that I am too soft for the city and I should move. But I will not. I will live here and die here. It's the way it has to be for me. Anything else you wish to know, just let me know. I will not sign my name at the end of this - as per your request. Thanks. |

understand now. Who is the other Pam on here??? I have not seen her. And then you say 'it's NOT me.' I do not understand. Also why did you say 'Not my style.' ??? Very confused... Pam |
You do not understand my post because I did not write it for you. I wrote it for Jim, who fully understands it.
Just so you can "get it" too, i have recently admitted to the good people here that I am a transsexual and that my chosen name is Pamela. UT has not changed my user name yet, probably because I have not yet formally asked him to do so. Your appearance here shortly after I dropped this bombshell was mistaken for my opening another account. And Jim, you know my posting style after some three thousand posts! Pamela |

So are we a new troll or the nice side of Emma ?
Any one want to guess? |
It's emma.
she's a star. |

I keep hearing about her; but no I am not her. Can someone please explain all this talk about 'Emma???' Thank you, Pam. |

I am still very confused why everyone is calling me 'Emma' when I have repeatedly stated that my name is Pam. Perhaps, you can shed some light on the issue? Thanks in advance, Pam. |
Because you are acting like she did. On the innerwebz, people have a sense of false anonymity so they pretend to be whoever they want to be at the moment. Naturally, folks get suspicious when a new person tromps around with a big banner over themselves that reads "Pay attention to me!! I am nutty! I am desperate!" That was Emma's brand of trollness, and it appears to be yours, as well. Personally, I don't know who you are, but it would be nice to hear some input into the existing conversations on this board aside from the paraphrased quote above. Then we might get to know you. Instead of being suspicious of trollness, I think we would engage in more meaningful conversation.
FTR, I don't think she is Emma. But she may be her cousin. |
I always for fall for girls who say, "No, I'm not her - but I'd like to know more about her!"
In fact it's my chat up line when I meet obviously underage girls in gaybars. "Oh hi... Emma?!" I'll leave it to your imagination where I go from there. But I do try to persuade my Lolitas to have at least a bacon sandwich next morning. What better start to the day than spreading apart the white bread to see the pink meat inside. |

Mr. undertoad welcomed me here, and I wish to remain in good standing. If you do not think my situation is dire, come to Woodhaven, Queens. I assure you that I am here, poor, and depressed...yet very giving, trusting, and have a lot to offer. Warmest regards, Pam |
I'm having a dleightful time checking out the tags on these threads. I don't normally pay much attention to 'em.

My moderator superpowers give me an "edit tags" button on the tags. Don't you guys get one of those?
|
Ah, heh, I guess I never noticed it.

Wishing you the best, Pam. |
I'm more of an immoderator, actually.
|
Yes, it appears we do have the ability to edit those.

Now I do not understand what is going on. I really do not wish to have my 'Sunshine' tag taken away. It is still there. Who, and why, does someone want to change it?????????????????
Upset, Pam. |
The tags at the bottom of the page, directly under the final post, on the left. Under 'Tags'.
Unless I am very much mistaken, they have to be added by the person making the thread (that being yourself) at the creation stage. [eta] I must have skipped a page of replies lol. So, does that mean Pam didn't put those tags on the thread? |
I like my tag but I'm not used to having the word "master" in reference to me, without the word "Bator" following close behind. ;-)
|
Pam does not yet know the difference amongst user title, tag, and .sig.
