What are you relieved about today?

Hector's hockey team roster. There are 4 teams, each supposed to have one goalie, but they let 6 goalies register. I am not paying $1,500+ for a part time goalie. Lay awake stressing about from about 3am this morning -about how I was going to handle my complaint when he got rostered with another goalie.......

He has his own team. Phew! And the same coach as last year, who we were pretty happy with. There was a coach I wanted to avoid, but not enough to rock the boat -I wanted to save all my pain-in-the-ass chips in case the goalie situation went tits up.

phew, phew, phew........!

DanaC 09-19-2011 08:06 AM

Did my upgrade meeting today :) All done and dusted. Boxes ticked, hoops jumped through. Normal transmission resumes.

monster 09-19-2011 08:07 AM

hurrah!

monster 09-19-2011 08:14 AM

OMG, I'm really becoming aware of just how much that was stressing me out! I am so happy over such a stupid little thing

:D :D :D

The old beet root scare, I know it well.

monster 09-19-2011 10:06 AM

Have you been beeting your root again too?

limey 09-19-2011 12:25 PM

I'm relieved that I've finally stopped procrarsetinating. Too late to not get a bo11ocking, I suspect but at least the blockage has shifted!

monster 09-19-2011 12:35 PM

I need to work on that. in a minute.

Did you use Exlax, or something similar?

infinite monkey 09-30-2011 01:44 PM

44+ million. Reconciled. To the penny.

And no gum chomping (slurping snapping slurpy snap) or Ghost of Jacob Marley chain rattling (bangle bangle bracelet bracelet) for all next week!

Whew.

Sundae 09-30-2011 02:20 PM

FUCKING PAYDAY!

This month has been 30 years long.
I ended up in a hole and grace to those who listened while I panicked.
Grace is due to them anyway, because they're that sort of person.

Trilby 09-30-2011 02:49 PM

hot water heater installed - phew.

What a goddamn nightmare.

Got the first classes for this semester out the way. Glad about that. Am taking two streams ofthe same module, with a 11-12:30 seminar, and then a 1-2:30 First class is a bit of a biatch, because you have to introduce all the procedural stuff and go through the module structure and so on. They seemed reasonably engaged though :)

Collected Picasso[Chihuahua]today, froze 5 vials of semen, pretty good for an old guy. He is 11. His grand sire is the top Champion producing Chihuahua {ever} over 100 Champions.

Picasso is probably the only living grandson of this male has been used at stud on a very limited basis but he is getting up there and I won't be using him for breeding right away because all my females [3] are his daughters.

Picasso himself was a "pupscicle". His champion father went to live with a veterinarian in Japan and I froze his semen then. Picasso was pretty happy about the whole ordeal today. This is only going to make me do the happy dance. But I wanted to post it since there is a sperm emotie. :)

I hope she doesn't need stitches or anything. That's a sensitive area.

Lola Bunny 11-04-2011 06:05 PM

My aunt's leaving in 3 days. :celebrat:

monster 11-04-2011 06:21 PM

hurrah, lola. she's been a pain for way too long.....

Lola Bunny 11-05-2011 09:44 PM

Thanks, Monster. Everytime I feel guilty for feeling happy that she's leaving, she does something that irks the hell out of me. Two more days....Yeah, I'm counting the days. Doing that helps me bite my tongue, so I wouldn't say something mean and cranky to her.

ZenGum 11-06-2011 12:17 AM

Just let her hear you quietly muttering two more days ... two more days...

classicman 11-06-2011 12:48 AM

She is GONE!!!!!!! :celebrat: And now, I have to wash linens, blankets, etc. She left some stuff back. Gonna call my cousin come to pick them up. . :yelsick: Btw, I don't wanna give her a grenade. If it's found at the airport, she would be detained. I want her outta here!

wolf 11-07-2011 06:07 PM

I'm rather glad I don't have to clean out my own drains.

I went into work with a strange sense of guilt.
I almost believed I was having a premonition that something was going to happen.
Something grim.
I kept casting through my mind for something I had done wrong and steeling myself for being upbraided on it.

Nope, nothing.

That was a relief. Although a foolish one, as I am at least reasonably confident in my role at present.
