I'm in love
I'm in love

infinite monkey 10-13-2011 02:00 PM

omg how cute are they?

Funny!

BigV 10-13-2011 04:50 PM

I liked the touch of realism hearing that the pitch rose as they crossed the finish line.

DanaC 10-13-2011 04:52 PM

Love it. Went off on a youtube trip and listened to a bunch of their songs.

Undertoad 10-13-2011 09:57 PM

Kate/Oates is cute like a lil ukulele and Riki/Garfunkel is cute like a dreadnought blond maple acoustic.

Kate comes from Griff country and wrote a song about the dear deer of the area.

BigV 10-13-2011 10:07 PM

Dark. Cute, but dark.

TheMercenary 10-14-2011 07:54 AM

She should have blaze orange on to sing in the woods this time of year.

Gravdigr 10-14-2011 12:47 PM

Reminds me: Years ago (Before she was Baby) I took Baby for a ride on a buddy's H-D.

Baby liked.:yesnod:

DanaC 10-14-2011 12:54 PM

When you say you 'took her for a ride.....'?

ZenGum 10-14-2011 06:27 PM

10 minutes on a Harley is about as close to foreplay as many Aussie women ever get.

DanaC 10-14-2011 06:29 PM

Who's Harley, and what's his number?

ZenGum 10-14-2011 06:50 PM

Oh you wouldn't like him; he's a real knucklehead, and he always says he is too tired*.

*works better if you say it.

Thanks, folks, I'll be here all week. Try the mongoose curry.

jimhelm 10-15-2011 11:48 AM

reminds me of the rope climb in elementary school. well,... the slide back down after climbing anyway.

Sundae 10-15-2011 03:05 PM

Girl on the left - wow, spindly arms?

footfootfoot 10-15-2011 03:44 PM

both of them could use a few cheeseburgers

And they say the camera adds ten pounds...what would they look like in person?

jimhelm 10-16-2011 10:42 PM

Seriously? They both look healthy and happy to me.

To me also...

bluecuracao 10-17-2011 03:35 AM

They're hilarious!

DanaC 10-17-2011 03:36 AM

I've emailed them to several people since seeing this thread.

bluecuracao 10-17-2011 03:54 AM

Yeah, I had to put them on fb.

infinite monkey 10-17-2011 07:21 AM

Oh, I love this one!

monster 10-17-2011 07:24 AM

awesome!

monster 10-17-2011 07:34 AM

this one's good too

infinite monkey 10-17-2011 07:40 AM

I don't know if I laughed harder at them wearing swimmies in the bathtub, or at Garfunkel sort of hip hop dancing towards the end (about 1:43.)

Are these girls making it famous? Have they appeared on any major talk shows? 'Cause they are clever!

The Gooch was a character on Scrubs

infinite monkey 10-17-2011 09:59 AM

Ahhhh. I vaguely remember that. I was sure I'd seen her somewhere before though.

I didn't say she had the spectral spindly arms of death.
Just that they're spindly.

Fantastically funny though.

This.

This is why I love you.

infinite monkey 10-17-2011 10:14 AM

I should be so 'spindly.'

Women: working hard to not be judged for our bodies since 1972.

We've come a long way, baby.

Meow. ;)

Sundae 10-17-2011 11:15 AM

Hey, I'd say the same about a man.
If'n he has spindly arms I mean.

infinite monkey 11-13-2011 10:09 AM

I've been seeing these two everywhere now. I was watching a Big Bang Theory rerun last night and I was like "Hey, that's Garfunkel or Oates!"

I googled it today and sure enough, it was. Garfunkel, that is.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1641251/bio

They're more famous than I thought.

Later on there was a Progressive commercial where Oates (Kate Micucci) played a waitress in a diner.

infinite monkey 11-14-2011 08:31 AM

p.s.

I posted their latest vid in funny vid thread.

I LOVE it!

glatt 11-14-2011 08:31 AM

Yeah, I saw the dark haired one in something recently. She's got a memorable face, so you'll recognize her when you see her.

infinite monkey 11-14-2011 08:34 AM

Absolutely!

Garfunkel, too. She played a grad student who was in awe of Sheldon. The eyes are pretty easy to spot, though her hair was red and she looked "different" than the videos I've seen.

I saw a quick glimpse of an article that said HoBO was developing a series for them but when I looked for it again I couldn't find it.

footfootfoot 11-14-2011 09:46 AM

Garfunkel is a dead ringer for a girl I dated briefly in my 20s.

infinite monkey 11-14-2011 09:47 AM

Why'd you kill her?

It's a Pavlovian reaction

RellikLaerec 11-14-2011 09:53 PM

The one is also on Raising Hope as the Baby/senior/pet sitter. She has some hilarious songs in that!

infinite monkey 11-16-2011 11:38 AM

Just saw Oates again, on an episode of How I Met Your Mother that i'd seen, but didn't note the actress playing, I don't know, some kind of receptionist who kept giving positive answers like this "Sure you can get married in Atlantic City today...is what I WOULD say if...blah blah blah.) Yep, Kate Micucci.

They're everywhere!

Undertoad 07-01-2012 10:36 PM

They are at Philadelphia's Helium Comedy Club Aug 17 and 18. But I don't know... how much of their act have I seen already?

Undertoad 07-08-2012 08:35 PM

Dang well okay then! Let's make it a GTG!

Ibby 07-08-2012 08:41 PM

SO SO SO JEALOUS i have all the crushes on kate micucci

Undertoad 07-09-2012 12:13 PM

If anyone is up for Greg Proops podcast taping at Helium on Thursday night, I find myself suddenly free to go to such an event. Apparently he will be addressing his thoughts on Pete Rose.

You may remember Mr Proops from Whose Line Is It Anyway, well he tours as a comic, but he also tapes a weekly live podcast called The Smartest Man In The World.

My wife & I have tickets for the early show on Friday night; it's the only one that fit with our schedule.
