Also Cairo, I do agree with you on many issues. It's the sharpness of your delivery that makes me poke fun at you. Both you and radar have some really great posts here. Unfortunately both you guys (generic term) hurl verbal arrows at each other.

You wont sway a person's core beliefs with a cellar post, even if you back it up. It's a core belief solidified over years of experience. If one person calls another an asshead(TM) and attaches exclaimation point to their post, the effect is no different from being polite. Being polite or funny is somewhat more enjoyable in an argument that no one really gains or loses though. What we may all do here is expreess how a given philosophy works or doesnt work in our lives. Nothing more.

I know you do, and yes I read it. What I object to is you deleting it. What you posted was the unvarnished truth of how you felt/feel, which every patriotic American finds logical, justified, and with reason. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not only slapping the face, dishonoring, and spitting on 3,000 lives lost, but are doing the same to America, and her Right to defend that attack!

My purpose on messageboards is never to sway or change anybody, it's to counter the liberal pukes' utter garbage so that lurkers who happen upon this place don't think the World has gone to Hell in a Socialist-basket. Most of the people who just read the threads are saying "Right on!" and laughing when I throw down on Mookie what he dished up first! I mainly post to the lurkers out there who are reading, anything else is just me having a little fun.

Liberal puke Al Franken said something that I thought was really, really genuinely remarkable the other day. He said that he had to realize, in life, that he could learn from people not as smart as he.

Spend some time posting non-political things to the non-political sections and see what happens. Talk about food and snow and coffee and houses and music. Then come back to the political and see if there's a difference.

Our part of town is actually middle of the road, leaning right. We have Republican state reps and a Republican City Council Rep, but a Democratic State Senator and a Democratic Congressman. We might have had a Republican Congresswoman, but playing the race card in our part of the district probably cost her the election.
