Film Alphabet 1960s

1 Attachment(s)
Same rules as 90s film: no peeking at roflrazzi comments, name movies in order, and googling your ideas to see if an image matches if perfectly acceptable.

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 05:44 PM

Well crud, I titled it and hit enter before I was finished.

Oops.

edit: mods can't fix titles, can they? If so it's supposed to read: Film Alphabet 1960s. But if you can't that's OK. My ocd hates the inconsistency, though. ;)

bluecuracao 01-12-2012 06:07 PM

A: Alfie

Had to google to confirm...I didn't remember him wearing glasses in the movie, but it's hard to mistake the shape of Michael Caine's head.

(Alfie being a favorite for me because the theme song is Bacharach and David, sung by Dionne Warwick) :)

edit: I just read that the UK version was sung by Cilla Black, and the one in the US release was actually Cher!?! However, Dionne's version was what made the billboard charts over here, and that's the one I know. And I'm a huge Bacharach and David sung by Dionne fan.

B = Barbarella.

I googled to make sure and it didn't look like it. But then I zoomed in on the image above and saw the raygun :P

Its morer fairer if we do them one at a time. It gives more peeps a chance to play.

BigV 01-12-2012 07:14 PM

right.

the "one" we're doing at this time is G.

I, too, play to win when I play games. It's one of the few areas I can go flat out and not worry about hurting somebody (including myself). Yet, I'm pacing myself here.

That's what we're doing, based on your suggestion in the first one I posted.

It's OK if you want to do a couple in a row. Game nazi. ;)

You're more ocd than me, even. :)

posting 10 in one post is different than 10 posts in a row ... how?

There is no winning in that regard. Figure them all out at once.
Whatever. enjoy.

You know, rjoe, it now occurs to me that it has to suck to be both dyslexic and ocd. You crack me up!

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 08:05 PM

OK people. We need an answer for I. (You won't get an answer for ME, because I'm indefinable.)

Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

I cheated in kind of a roundabout way to find the answer. I would be pretty impressed if someone gets it.

monster 01-12-2012 08:11 PM

I am working on it. 'Cept my sprogs keep interrupting. silly billies.

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 08:13 PM

blue: did you read the rules, that you're allowed to google your ideas to see if it matches?

monster, put the sprogs to bed. There's nothing riding on this!

monster 01-12-2012 08:14 PM

Italian Job?

monster 01-12-2012 08:15 PM

bluecuracao 01-12-2012 08:15 PM

Well yes, but I had no idea what the film name was...I knew the guy right off, though. Is that OK?

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 08:15 PM

Nope.

monster 01-12-2012 08:16 PM

Oh yeah, that's legal, the guy is a recurring character in this series. I'd never heard of it myself, but figured someone would get it based on the guy!

bluecuracao 01-12-2012 08:18 PM

I: The Ipcress File

Never heard of it, either!

monster 01-12-2012 08:21 PM

damn. I tried...

sprogs? bed? at this hour?

where's the educational value in that?

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 08:24 PM

monster 01-12-2012 08:26 PM

Damn i got the michael Caine thing, then, just wrong movie

if i get J right, am i allowed to try K or do i have to leave it for someone else?

bluecuracao 01-12-2012 08:27 PM

When you posted The Italian Job, I thought that was it and I was mistaken. Totally forgot about that movie.

They should replace it with that one, though; it's not so damn obscure as The Ipcress File.

monster 01-12-2012 08:27 PM

(yes I'm getting a new keyboard to deal with my right shift key problem)
any minute now.

monster 01-12-2012 08:28 PM

Ipcress file was big in UK. Well anything with Michael Caine in was.....

infinite monkey 01-12-2012 08:28 PM

As I said before, I think it's OK to do more than just one, if you know a couple. This game ain't gonna last forever anyway! :)

Guess J, I know you know it!

Then K if'n you want!

monster 01-12-2012 08:29 PM

I answered J, tell me i right

you absolute bitch, come back this minute and tell me I'm right! I was forced to watch that regularly from a tender age. One year it was even the "christmas film" in Junior School (=elementary). Mind you, so was The Amazing Mr Blunden. not exactly your "Christmas Story"....
