Hell on Earth...

The punishment for doing evil and not repenting is hell. But Hell on earth is something entirely different. A "mizrible" place to be. Having your butt kicked up and down the street. WAR... I thank the Lord that I am not in hell on earth, however there is always the chance that I could end up there. I don't think I am going to final destination hell but there is a good chance I could end up in hell on earth, and if you were smart you would be care-full that you don't end up there too.The mental state of mind I am in is a sort of hell because my mind has been so twisted by the lies of the devil that I don't think of all the good that Jesus can do instead I have a disorder that makes me think in a negative sort of way. So how do I think positive in a way that makes me happy and gives me the Freedom of Heaven on Earth.I think it's a matter of staying connected to Jesus regardless of circumstance and doing things that are righteous, uplifting and avoiding lunacy. Like going to church and not playing games like dungeons and dragons. A kingdom divided against it self will fall, so if we are united in love nothing can stop us. I'm afraid that with all this "music as a weapon" that we are fighting the wrong enemy like a marry go round. So it is this "marry go round hell" I am "taking" down with me. I started it I'll finish it. Maybe it just ends in me ding but hey we all die, might as well go out in style...

qcc???

JBKlyde 09-20-2012 06:22 PM

I thought I'd get a better response... seriously no one else is concerned??

monster 09-20-2012 10:37 PM

Sundae 09-21-2012 01:46 AM

already stolen. Or "borrowed". Previously enjoyed maybe?

Sundae 09-21-2012 04:41 PM

I certainly didn't enjoy it :(
TBH I thought it was a typo, but yes, it's clever enough to have been pre-loved.

JBKlyde 09-28-2012 03:39 PM

well what i'm refering to is this Idea that music is some kind of means to gain power.. while yes it is a power-full tool..and can be used to "drum up support and the beats of war has always been a means of preparing for war.. music and art should be a celebration of life not a struggle for power... it's kind of like a quote by jimmy hindrecs "when the power of love overrides the love of power we will have true peace"... <-- I heard that on cnn in an interview with jesse venture...

henry quirk 10-02-2012 09:17 AM

"The punishment for doing evil and not repenting is hell."

Prove it, then we can talk.

JBKlyde 10-02-2012 08:49 PM

have you ever been to Jail... I think that's as close to hell as I have ever been... do something that's against the law that's you destination... I think that if you live in sin you will die in sin.. there are certain 'sins that don't lead to death and there are certain 'sins that do.. for instance murder... if you think you can run around and murder rob and steal and there is no eternal concenqinces you must have a seared conscious and there is no possible way I can convince you except to pray that God has mercy on you and softens your heart, if your are a morally correct person and think that God dose not punish non believers then I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.. the only unforgivable sin is "non belief" so if you don't believe in Jesus there is no possible way I can prove it because my proof is the bible and you don't believe it..

qcc??

Alternatively, you could just take your meds and get a good night's sleep.

JBKlyde 10-03-2012 03:32 AM

or I can just drink a pint of whiskys and be sane like you..

infinite monkey 10-03-2012 06:04 AM

henry quirk 10-03-2012 09:16 AM

"have you ever been to Jail"

Yes...it was 'jail', not 'hell'.

You can't compare a physical, unpleasant, reality with a fiction (or, you 'can'...you just can't expect any one to participate in the comparison).

#

"I think that's as close to hell as I have ever been"

Saying way more about 'you' than 'hell'.

#

"sin"

Define, please.

#

"I guess we will just have to agree to disagree"

Probably.

#

"my proof is the bible"

Which is no proof at all.

*shrug*

Dude, that was AWESOME!

:notworthy

I love how people just love to attack you (some with the oh so original 'take your meds' comment...did you just think that up?) and you stay unruffled.

This was such a great comeback! Keep on keepin' on, JBK.

Juniper 10-03-2012 10:15 AM

Sorry. I've been away for a while and didn't realize I was being cliched. Then again, if lots of people said the same thing, maybe there's something to it?

Besides, I never said I was sane. Certainly doesn't require whiskey to make me crazy. Wine will do, too.

infinite monkey 10-03-2012 10:21 AM

Jun, JBK is an admitted schizophrenic. I didn't think stop to think you might not know that.

Sorry, I'm a little protective of him, don't know why...I just think he can be fun to read, he's a wholly different human being. And so many who are aware still say the 'take your meds' thing and I find that in very poor taste.

Now, if you say 'take your meds' to me, knowing I'm not mentally ill...that's OK. Wait, my premise is wrong there. :) *runs to take meds*

(and it was a good comeback!)

Juniper 10-03-2012 10:51 AM

And I didn't stop to think that might be the case. Foot in mouth.

I'm very sorry, JBK.

Funny, that's sort of what made me stay away from the cellar for so long last time - talking about mental illness, specifically depression, 'cause apparently my variety wasn't serious enough to let me join the club. I struggle with it daily and I'm not really in a great place these days, but I keep chuggin' along, and putting my foot in my mouth on a regular basis.

Shutting up now.

infinite monkey 10-03-2012 10:54 AM

Hey, I know what you mean. I feel that way sometimes too. Sorry you're having a rough time, and I do understand.

Don't be 'shutting up now.'

We all learn and grow all our lives, you know?

It;s not a big deal I find it more of an excuse than a problem... when I do or say something stupid I just blame mental illness and everyone nice-ns up... but recently I have been drinking whiskey just about 2 shots a week and I find it nerve calming...

BigV 10-03-2012 05:56 PM

just two shots for me, too.

The first one.

and the last one.

JBKlyde 10-04-2012 03:34 PM

BigV 10-08-2012 03:48 PM

That was surprisingly informative JBK.
