Being a pompous, opinionated, loudmouthed asshat, I give you my unsolicited feedback. All the songs on the first web page were good - I liked them all. Loved Camera. Had flavors of Cake and Iggy Pop, with Devo keyboards (to my ear). The only negative that stands out is the repetition of the lyrics, especially in Hello Operator Hello Operator Hello Operator Hello Operator. I'll try to be there. Do you get a portion of the door?

I love Camera too, because it's my chance to take lead. I will perform the shit out of it.

Sorry, but it looks like I will be attending a holiday party in West Chester. I was hoping to take my dad out to dinner and then continue on to UT's gig, since my dad lives about halfway between here and there.

UT and the rest of Audio Kings of the Third World put on an excellent show! Their music and performance style is very cool and holds true to early punk/new wave influences. I was telling him and Spexx that it felt like we could be at the Mudd Club circa 1979 (or what I imagine it would have been like).

It looked like Spexx was taking pics of the show on his phone; I hope they turned out OK and he posts them.

That's kind of amazing that the photos came out as well as they did. The lighting effects were not good at all; being that they were mostly focused on those of us in the audience rather than the stage. I had such a fantastic time hanging out wit yous guys...hope we can do it again! Spexx, you and your friend had me laughing so hard that I was practically crying at times.

UT, thank you, that's sweet. Spexx's friend had asked me that night if I was your band's groupie, and I said yes. I will gladly follow the Audio Kings to every show I can get to. :)

I had a great time, too. Good music, Yard's Brawler ale, great company. Next time, I hope there's a quiet place so we don't have yell in each others' ear form an inch away, just to be heard. BTW, did I mention that Blue smells real nice?

Trying to get to Phoenixville Saturday. UT, any specifics on the show?

Well the highlight of the night is the massive lighting of the giant wooden phoenix. I think that happens at 8 and we will play after, at Steel Eagle Antiques.

Phoenixville is a true phenomenon now of artsy places and restaurants, and for this annual 'Burningbird' it should be pretty happening.

Family obligations arise. I won't make it.

In a good way!

The night we saw them, he wore it onto stage, including gloves and a white mask. Over the course of the set, he took the entire thing off (he wore regular clothes underneath) and then put it back on.

We were playing right on the street and the people walking by really dug it.

Did he leave it on the whole time?

No, pretty much the same disrobing, but the people yelled at him to put it back on.

They're very hot inside and not breathable AT ALL. The ones I have like that are basically a giant impermeable bag with arms and legs that you climb in from the neck, cinching shut according to conditions. It does make a fun costume though.

Yeah Johnny discovered that! Which is why the disrobing happens... when he's a few songs in, he gets too hot!

The suit was especially appropriate at the Philly show. Being that it was the day after the chemical spill in nearby Paulsboro.
