But the question is, what was the joke they were talking about in the very beginning of the clip shown below? Did I miss something?

The joke was that the guy interviewing me had posted an ad on the app asking for people to interview so I messaged him through the app letting him know I knew where he worked which caught him by surprise and then I explained I worked there too. He got a kick out of that and the rest is history. :-)
