COMMIE

xoxoxoBruce 08-31-2018 12:17 PM

Mustard is produced by squeezing milk fed babies and scraping their diapers. http://cellar.org/2012/bwekk.gif

Between the two, ketchup. But I typically skip both.

Just had a grilled ham and cheese with spicy brown mustard. Yum.

And a sharp mustard with horseradish in it for dipping soft pretzels is outstanding.

Castup just lubricates food to make it slide down easier.

Undertoad 08-31-2018 01:36 PM

Mustard

Gravdigr 08-31-2018 01:54 PM

I like a nice ham sammich, w/lettuce, onions and a good yellow mustard.

Ketchup is acceptable if:

You're under 10 years old

It's on French fries

It's on a burger next to the mayo

Your chicken cheese steak is too dry

You're a Commie

sexobon 09-01-2018 11:33 AM

I've heard that ketchup is the choice of cannibals.

Undertoad 09-01-2018 12:00 PM

also acceptable on meatloaf but yeah that is about the whole list

eta sometimes the solution to the chicken cheesesteak is to tell them extra cheese. depends on the place

zippyt 09-01-2018 01:50 PM

next time try sriracha ketchup on your meat loaf , it adds a nice Zing to it

xoxoxoBruce 09-01-2018 04:33 PM

Suck Mr Mustard Seed all day, you won't get that ten-bob note from his nose.

lumberjim 09-01-2018 08:58 PM

That doesn't even make any sense

xoxoxoBruce 09-01-2018 09:51 PM

That's because you kids don't know the classics.

fargon 09-03-2018 08:38 AM

Glinda 09-03-2018 12:54 PM

I will take mustard and the Rolling Stones over ketchup and the Beatles eight days a week. ;)

fargon 09-04-2018 02:10 PM

Both are appropriate in different contexts and a direct comparison isn't possible or useful.

I did a thing last night.

Clodfobble 09-23-2018 08:34 AM

How did it turn out?

Griff 09-23-2018 08:43 AM

It has a nice late heat. It's supposed to age for a couple weeks so I'll know more then. I was surprised the ghost peppers didn't take over but maybe with a little time they will assert themselves. These all came out of the garden so maybe cross-pollination weakened them. I may make another batch tonight and skip the banana peppers and increase ghost, cayenne, and jalapeņo. I'll need to be careful putting in my contacts. :mecry:
