Beer, bullets, and bulldozer: a winning combination!
plthijinx showed me these pictures from his family farm in Central Texas. I will host them here for your enjoyment. This is a pretty accurate depiction of the local lifestyle. I sense a new tradition in the making!

Pic. 2--Busy murdering doves again? :( Pic. 3--Still don't have the hang of that grader yet? :p |
Looks like a fun day.
Only one thing ... since you can't see the front side of anyone's cap ... was at least one person wearing one advertising either a heavy equipment company or a feed and grain store? |

I hate to bring this up but it appears that the guy with the Wild Turkey t-shirt is wearing a cap advertising GOLF clubs. I'm assuming he found the cap on a dead yuppie or in a drainage ditch somewhere.

Nice shootn' iron there slimbuck !!!!
A while back (dureing the summer)my wife called me on my cell phone she said "pick up a case or two of hiene-CANS for this week end ". I asked her why , she said you'll see when you get home . When i got home she had the camping truck all loaded up . She had premade steak kebobs to grill . We went to our land on the spring river and hung out . LOTS of drunk collage folks conoeing by , I got flashed MANY times that weekend . :D :D Why the hiene-CANS ?? if you get cougut with glass on the river it is a $350 fine on the spot , or they will haul you in !!! that can totaly fuck up your weekend , and YES theyare looking thru binos' and have folks in plane clothes woundering about just to catch you . We always take a few liter water bottles to transfre the enevitable fifth of whiskey that shows up . Once a drunk dude and i were emptying his whiskey in to the water bottle as a river cop came up , he just looked at me sidways and walked away . HA   |

$350?!?!?! jail?!?!?  screw that! man, that's WHACK!! my place in centralish texas is on the guadelupe river but we don't have to worry about glass or anything. i think though, maybe someone can shed some light on this (hint, hint NBN) that upstream in New Braunsfels there is a pretty stiff fine for glass on the river. i never go up there b/c it's just safer to wander around my place and get beered up and shoot stuff. besides that i'm usually pretty worn out from working on misc. stuff (ie. the grater/tractor/jeep/fallen trees it's a neverending list) to drive the 30 mins or so to party it up. one day though....... |
