MMmmmmmmm... tummyache....

Dorothy! Adorable kid, Steve.
Now, is she gonna share that loot? :yum: |
I saw a lot of kids out over in Chestnut Hill and East Mt. Airy, but not too many here in Germantown. Thankfully, none have come to my door. :)
|
"Share" has nothing to do with it. Mom & Dad get to go through everything after the kids are in bed! :corn:
|
Yikes! Lights out at 7:30! I am hiding upstairs, in the dark, on line with y'all. Ran outta peanutbutter cups and smarties.
The trick or treaters were getting bigger and bigger. One of the last ones had a unsettling, real beard...and towered above me. gulp. shhhhh. |

the princess and the.....bumpy stegasorusy space dude? can you clarify this cutest of characters? What powers does he posess?
|
Well, obviously the bumpy stegasorusy space dude is feeling a bit...anxious.
|
Too cute! Didn't get any trick or treaters here. The town had a big celebration for the kids yesterday. It was great seeing all those little witches and dragons prowling the main drag. The neighbor's little girl was a leopard with spots and a tail and big whiskers - really sweet! ;)

The boy picked his costume based on possible accessory weapons - red power ranger has a neato swiss army gun/knife that he liked better than the various swords... |

I got one set of trick-or-treaters. I didn't have any candy so I said 'Trick'. There were no others after that.

We had a costume contest at work tonight, this was one of the best. The costume had a little fan in it to keep it inflated, not only was she a puffy pink pig she's also very pregnant!
|
A creative guy like you? I figured you'd at least hand out empty shell casings or beer bottlecaps.

My frail, elderly mother was under orders that she was under no circumstances to open the door, even if there were childish sounding knocks. |

Great costume too! |
I had two bowls of candy last night. For the kids who came around in a costume consisting of little more than a mask, I gave out the fun size and off-brand candy. For the kids that came around who looked like they at least put some thought into what they wanted to be, I gave out full size candybars and high quality nums. Though most of the ones in jeans, Tshirt and a little plastic mask were the kids who looked like they belonged in highschool. Too cool to dress up, but still wanting free candy. Effort, kids, EFFORT!!

Until I saw your post. |
We handed out pretzels and Pop Ices. Fewer little ones this year.
Next year, we're handing out hot cider in cups to the chilly parents too. I miss the "Good Olde Days". I remember brownies and popcorn balls and caramel apples. This was before the psychos and razor blades and needles amd poison. Most of you remember that. I hope. Brian |

The poison in Tylenol was real, but had nothing to do with Halloween. I'd be curious if anyone can prove otherwise. |
|
Ah, Snopes. I should have checked there.
They say it's true, but then go on to say they are mostly hoaxes with one year (post Tylenol) of a bunch of crazy shit going on. |
