This is not the usual IotD territory, I think -- but the more I looked at this image, the more hilarious I thought it was. Having lived with both animals, I can just imagine this coming to pass. After a while I figured it was just too priceless not to post. Have a nice day and week, IotDers!

I like how they match in color. Black with white underbellies.

I also have to say, this image is a perfect analogy for my ex-marriage. And I was the dog. :lol:

My cat and I loved this picture but I do feel sorry for the poor old dog, and the look on his face is absolutely priceless isn't it. :lol:

i think the dog's look is saying, "i'm sure glad i left fleas in that bed. next time she gets up, i'll pee on the blanket."

Oh man...that is one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen. If ever a dog was actively plotting revenge...

For the life of me I can't figure out where that dog's front legs are in that pic - did they cut them off so he'd fit?

A buddy of mine trained his dog to balance a pint of beer on his head. Don't think you could get a cat to do that....

Hell, the dog even loves the damn cat even tho he stole his bed. The cat would hate the dog if he gave him his bed AND his food.

My cats come when I call them...if by 'calling them' you mean opening a can of any sort. Works every time!

BigV...I never get tired of the bally/yarny routines.

A buddy of mine's family has a dog and a cat. They got an igloo-type doghouse for the dog, which the cat promptly annexed. The dog shivered on the porch.

So they got a second igloo. The cat moved to the newer, cleaner one, and sublet the original one to a neighborhood stray cat. The dog shivered on the porch.

They got a third. The cat moved again, the stray moved to igloo #2, and the poor dog got a third-hand cat-stinking igloo.

A dog has owners, a cat has staff. :)

I love cats. I feel like I have some cat genes in me. In my next life, I want to be a cat.
I developed an allergy to cats while I worked at the vet.

Now I feel depressed...

And why can't I find an IOTD for May 15th? hmmmm?

What, since you got a new woman, and are all happy and in love and stuff, we are last weeks news? No new fields of 64, now a slipping IotD, then what? Oh, the insensitivity... :bawling:

What?! My woman is totally satisfied and then I developed that field of 64 administration tool, and nobody wants to put it to use!

That made a somewhat disturbing appearance on the WTF thread.

Apparently it's part of a sculptural series.

That is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen--especially their little butt cheeks with tails.... :sick:

I don't think that sculpture is people/dog chimeras but is meant to be people pig mixes. This is because there is a big push to humanize the pig genome so that pigs will make better organ donors for transplant for humans. The sculpture is simply commentary on that.

Hheeyyy Geezers and geezeresses, my cats do come when we call them! And by the name that is! My biggest one even does the "sitting" and "laying down" part! :blush: Just saw a clip on the net of a small cat and a crow living together! :lol:

Sure, the Big One hears York's voice, says "there's the food machine" and comes sauntering.
York say's, "sit".
Big One says, "Crap, it's gonna be a while. Might as well sit down and be comfortable."
York says, "lay down".
Big One says, "Uh oh, it's worse than I thought, better lie down and take a nap until the food machine reboots."
