Put another dwellar in a car

So. What car would you expect the other dwellars to drive?

What car would they choose if money was no object. ...and why.

I'll cover the obvious ones quickly here.

ZippytT.....F150 no, make that an F350 dualie turbo deisel

smoothmoniker......porsche 911

sycamore......1974 LeMans land yacht with the fuzzy dice and carpet balls

ok., now you go. bonus point for being right ( no fair if you already know what they actually drive)

zippyt 06-25-2005 12:05 AM

well dude you got the f350 right , no duli or turbo deisel (YET !!!) Company truck with a tool box body .
But I do own a 95 GMC Sierra extended cab 6.5 Litr turbo diesel with a covered tool box body . but still no dulie

elSicomoro 06-25-2005 12:12 AM

*laughs* Make it older...before 1972...no pollution controls.

My current car totally does not fit me...I like it and all, but it definitely doesn't scream "Sycamore!"

zippyt 06-25-2005 12:39 AM

i see syc in a 62 buick electra , Barge , with a 490 dule carb Bubba engine , low pro spoke wheels , trunk full of subs and empty beer bottles .

Bruce in his 57 , BIG Pimp'n

Slang , i see a hummer in his future , surplus H1 , OD green or black

Jag well in a Jag

Clod , in a nissan , Stupid wide bolt on wing , ground efects , neon kit underneath

Phlijinx , well a pic says a thousand words http://photos15.flickr.com/21394125_2a7beb5057_o.jpg

smoothmoniker 06-25-2005 01:02 AM

Yesterday, the answer for me would have been BMW z3 roadster

Today, the answer is Lincoln Navigator, Soccer Mom Edition.

Here's the funny part - both my mother and I have small SUVs named after us. I've got the RAV4 (well, the 4 is superfluous) and my mom has the CRV.
For the record, I'm actually a lemming -- I drive an Accord. But I'm thinking of trading it in for the new hybrid model. I was going to get a TSX last fall, but we ended up plonking down the money to do a kitchen remodel instead.

I drive a 2003 Chevy Malibu...totally not a Sycamore car.

My girlfriend drives the ultimate lesbian vehicle--a 2000 Toyota RAV4. Apparently, she was not aware of its lesbianness before buying it.

Sun_Sparkz 07-05-2005 02:33 AM

Syc, How is a Toyota Rav4 a lesbo vehicle??? Over here all the city chics have rav4's. Its not like they have ANY butch appeal.. where the hell can you go in them apart from the mall and the beach?

Give me a Patrol or Discovery any day. Unless you are prepared to spend a fortune on a 6 inch suspension lift, all new shocks and tyres, winches, and rubber coverings. A bigger fuel tank (they only hold 80 litres!!) and a complete new dash that actually tells you WHAT is going on under under there.

Chicks AND dykes here dig 'em. *shrugs*

There was an article I saw recently about the most popular cars among gays and lesbians...I believe the RAV4 was on there. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Clodfobble 07-05-2005 09:54 AM

I drive a green 2001 Mazda B3000 truck. No extended anything, just a cute little girly truck--but it does have a V6.

People warned me that everyone would be asking me to help them move when I bought it, but so far it's been only family members, and they've only wanted to borrow the vehicle, not my muscles. And I can't even count the number of times it's gotten me out of driving when we're all going somewhere in a group. "Well, I could drive, if you all want to hop in the back..."

lookout123 07-05-2005 10:39 AM

my ride is a silver 2000 toyota tacoma prerunner. extended cab. nothing extra on it.

not very stockbroker-ish or flashy, but i love it.

Its sibling, the Ford Ranger, is a big dykemobile. :)

Happy Monkey 07-05-2005 10:41 AM

I still haven't crashed this one.

The Rav4 is merely a wussy SUV substitute, for people who are too scared to buy a real SUV.

The ultimately dykemobile is a Jeep Liberty.

Everybody knows that.

I had no clue. Wait...you drive an old person car...what the fuck do you know? :)

Doesn't Jinx drive a Liberty? Or was that just a dealer vehicle from Jim's days at the Jeep dealership, which would then make Jim a dyke?

wolf 07-09-2005 03:09 PM

I'm pretty sure that Jim is a lesbian. I have really good gaydar.

lumberjim 07-09-2005 05:20 PM

funny you should say that. i've always felt that i am a lesbian trapped inside a man's body.

jinx has a grand cherokee.....i did have a liberty for a time as a demo, but anyway, the Toyota Rav4 is the dykemobile.

Point of technical fact ... I drive an "old person car" because the deal was just too damn good to pass up, and, more importantly, I needed a vehicle I could transport long guns in without having to put the passenger seat into full recline AND drop the split rear seat AND still have to bungee the trunk closed on the end of the case.

elSicomoro 07-13-2005 02:39 AM
