11/30: Dog nurses pigs
http://cellar.org/pictures/dognursespigs.jpg
A fine Friday image - this one showed up on Yahoo's most popular earlier this week, but I've saved it for today. You know I'm a sucker for animal pics, but this one also accompanies this fine piece of dialogue from Red Dwarf: Holly: Nothing wrong with dog's milk: full of goodness; full of vitamins; full of marrow-bone jelly! Lasts longer than any other type of milk, dog's milk. Lister: Why's that? Holly: No bugger will drink it! |
Heh. Continuing the fine Friday tradition of funny pigs. I like it :)

Well it brings up the question: is dog's milk enough like pig's milk that the piglets can get all the nutrition they need from it?
And the big question: how close to human milk is cow's milk? |

Sharing Means Caring, So do it with Milk
I feel quite strongly that there is no liquid more nutrient-packed, health-promoting or just plain fun than pig's milk. It's especially important for 18-month-old girls in Maryland. So, in the spirit of inter-species milk-sharing, I see no harm in raising some piglets on canine milk. Actually, I'm more curious about how I can get me a taste of that puppy. Looks so good I could sop it up with a biscuit. Ciao!
