Is the actress playing her, in costume.

I pictured her as younger and slimmer.... but I'm not complaining.

The first scenes with her, she looks so fragile. Almost translucent.

She's an amazing actor.

I took my picture this weekend at Sakura-Con. She did look almost translucent, and now seeing that shot of the actual actress, I'd say the execution of her costume was excellent. She was very pretty and young and thin. I like the bunny ears too. It was Sakura-Con after all. Thanks. :)

The actress who plays Brienne is actually quite pretty. I remember when I first found out about the season 2 cast I was sceptical, because in the books she is described as ugly. But yeah, covered in filth and with a seriously bad haircut, she doesn't look as pretty as she actually is. :P She plays the role really well, anyway. Brienne is an awesome character.

Woah, just saw the most recent episode. Joffery is a real psychopath. I found that scene a little disturbing, mainly, I think, because he's so young. I don't know how old the actor is, but he's only mid-late teens... he does some great acting to really make the audience hate Joffrey.

I'd also like to say I really like the actress playing Margery in the show. She's going to be awesome later on, I just know it. I think she's pretty too.

i tried to watch an episode this morning... but there was no sound! regular tv was fine, but no sound on on demand.

v pissed. I dont get many free hours.

The Blackwater episode did not disappoint!

Drunk Cersei was amusing, although depressing. I thought it was interesting to see that side of her, that you get to see a lot more of in the books. She's the villain, no doubt, but in that episode it was shown well that she is still a human being who has been through her share of shit just like anyone. It's possible to feel sympathy for her without liking her.
Awesome performance by Lena Headey. She is perfect for Cersei.

Sansa was cool in this ep as well, getting all snarky with Joffrey in front of his men. Haha. She has some very interesting character development in the books and it looks like the show is doing it well, too.

But then he laughed and admitted people will come up to him and say, "OMG! I love Game of Thrones, it's so brilliant, you're so cool, when do you start filming the next series?"

Well, I finally got around to watching the second half of GoT s2.

I fell off it halfway through the series, as my head and heart just weren't with it. Too much other shit going on at the time.

So glad I went back to it. Really loved it. Peter Dinklage is wonderful, what an actor. Talk about screen presence. That man has it in spades.

Also, really love where Daenerys is going. Her character development has been one of the great joys of both series.

Can't wait for the next series. Now I really should go back and finish the second half of Homeland...and Being Human...and Dexter and a few others...

I open this thread to make it read. But I haven't read much of it, perhaps fragments of a few posts because I don't want any spoilers. I haven't seen **ANY** of this program, but is certainly seems to be worth watching. I'm kind of waiting for it to be available for streaming, but I might get the physical discs from Netflix.

Are any HBO shows available for streaming outside of HBO Go?

V: It's one of the best epic dramas I've seen in a very long time. I'd say it's the best fantasy drama but that would suggest it's good for a fantasy. I think it's great tv drama.

The pacing reminds me a little of I Claudius at times. It takes its time and plays out multiple connected storylines. Acting is very good and it has a real visual depth to it that's lovely to see. And it's occasionally very funny.
