Harley Davidson

Back before Hells Angels, Brando's Wild One, and Easy Rider, led to balding, beer bellied, middle aged men with a dresser in the garage that’s 8 years old with 600 miles on it, just so they could wear all the Harley clothes and have a sticker on their pick up, things were different.
Indian was king, the foreign bikes won races, and the Japs put America on two wheels. Harley Davidson survived by filling niche markets, especially for the Military. |

Look at those monsters! Awesome, I wish I had one. Hell, I wish I could see one in person. Totally badass.
|
Yeah they looked badass but the knuckle heads didn't have a lot of power. They were geared for low speed operation. Of course you wouldn't want to go fast on most of those tires anyway, if you valued your fillings. ;)

Here is another. This is in New Hampshire. Shown solo here, but can be converted quickly for two up hard bags and tour trunk. This is a Road King.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c699537ebf.jpg

I don't think it's a Harley, but it sure is a Hog.

A single degree of lean angle...Those tires are gonna have the widest chicken strips.

Also:
How comfortable are you when sitting directly upon your balls? |
I think on that thing they would automatically withdraw... like to my throat. :haha:

Or a radio. The previous owner paid $1200 for that tour pack (trunk box). I found his receipt. He put the radio in too. Didn't find that receipt, but there were parts of that kit left uninstalled in a box he gave us when he traded it. I sold that stuff for decent money... I probably posted it here, but can't remember how much. $280 maybe? It's a 2005. In 2006, they released the Street Glide, which is set up like mine was new. The green bike there has soft bags like a road king. I wonder if he added the batwing or swapped his bags out. |
