Sept 2nd, 2017: Albino Trees
Northern California has eight of the 25 known Albino Redwood trees.
Albino redwood trees lack chlorophyll, so their needles are limp and waxy. They can’t produce their own food, so through their roots are attached to the parent tree. They grow up like children leaching off the parent and living in the basement at thirty+. http://cellar.org/2017/albino-redwood.jpg link |

meh, They probably all burned down in the last week. There are 13 forest fires east of me. The sun has been orange and yellow for the last week. (70mi south of SF.)
