glatt 06-21-2012 03:51 PM

Need a hint?

He got his start in stand-up.

infinite monkey 06-21-2012 03:55 PM

I'm thinking David Puddy? The guy from Seinfeld...more recently Rules of Engagement? Can't think of his real name. I've not seen this one before.

Undertoad 06-21-2012 04:06 PM

oh uh uh yeah uh uh goddamn, he was The Tick! uh uh oh Patrick Warburton!

infinite monkey 06-21-2012 04:07 PM

Yeah! Is it him?

Gravdigr 06-21-2012 04:17 PM

No. But you're closer than you were.

Second hint: He was a writer for a tv show.

Gravdigr 06-21-2012 04:18 PM

BTW, Mr. Warburton also voices Joe the paraplegic policeman on "Family Guy".

infinite monkey 06-21-2012 04:20 PM

I know. Love pat warburton.

But darn, who is this guy?

infinite monkey 06-21-2012 04:21 PM

Undertoad 06-21-2012 04:31 PM

no wai!!! but wait.... it could be!!

glatt 06-21-2012 04:33 PM

Not Steve Martin. But fairly early in his career, this guy has also written for SNL and Fridays.

Gravdigr 06-21-2012 04:34 PM

I'm just taking some slack up for Glatt, but...No to Steve Martin.

Yet another hint: Our mystery celeb has also appeared on Seinfeld. Also, keep in mind hint #2.

(Glatt's gonna get me for this...)

ETA: Nevermind. :D
