April 19th, 2020 : Canaries
I personally don’t like birds in the house they can be very messy, even when caged.
However many people do love their tweety birds, either for the songs or a power trip. I guess Canaries are the most popular but there’s a dozen different kinds with different talents. http://cellar.org/img/canary1.jpg There is one with promise, I like the punk looking Gloster. http://cellar.org/img/canary2.jpg They claim it’s song is off key but I think it makes it up in looks and swagger. http://cellar.org/img/canary3.jpg If you put him in a cage, you better watch your ass. http://cellar.org/2012/nono.gif http://cellar.org/img/canary4.jpg See, not to be trifled with... you don't see Sylvester around anymore do ya. :headshake |
I had a canary named Wolfgang for several years several years ago.
He entertained us with beautiful songs of endless variety. I still am not sure if he did so out of joy or sorrow. |
Any critter we bring into our homes we should ask ourselves that question, are we saving them from the cold cruel world or imprisoning them?
