Does anyone know what ssx stands for?

A quick google reveals no answer.

A quick mind suggests ... Super Snowboarding Xtreme.

I thought Super Snowcross. But I think Wolf's answer is just as likely.

ssx in it's third whatever,
or ss x(times) 3 ? :confused:
