Point For Cake
 

See if I can make a long question short -
L A radio station does silly morning bit - "question of the day" - (e.g. Superman vs. Batman) - one day was cake vs. pie - every time someone had a valid argument was either "point for cake" or "point for pie" -

Now every time someone on the station brings up happy valid idea, someone yells "point for cake!", conversely bad/sad thought = "point for pie".

Presumably it is slowly becoming a national phenomenon - has been passed on through the grapevine - was wondering just how far it has spread? Any of yoos in Philly / NY heard of this?

I'm more of a cake person myself.

While I enjoy many more varieties of cake than I do for pie, I was merely extending your point in the individual post: positive remark==cake, negative remark==pie. My answer to your question "Is this happening in your area?" can only be categorized as point for pie. Not here, only there.

I may have overstepped though. I am only able to answer for the upper left hand corner, not Philly or NY. If so, I apologize.

I think it was the placement of the two..........a little whipped cream wouldn't hurt.

I only listen to conservative talk radio. There is a guy, though, that plays something called Jepretardy every Friday ... and during football season he pits two convenience store workers from cities competing in hotly contested football matchups against each other and plays four quarters of More-On Trivia as a predictor of the outcome. The questions are stupidly simple, but require answers that are never known by the foreign guys at the Kwikimart.

Now THAT is some good radio...:lol:

Any correlation to the outcome of the actual football games?
